l moved to Los Angeles 2004 from Philadelphia but grew up in Levittown, PA. In late 2008 I took a job with Nationwide Speakers Bureau. This job was bad ass. At the time, Nationwide was one of the most popular speakers bureaus in the country. They handled speaking engagements for motivational speakers, book authors, politicians and some sports figures. I would basically cold call companies and pitch clients. I mostly assisted my bosses with what they needed. My bosses were great and I learned a ton of cool shit. After about two years, I left and started producing web content. I found a job on Craigslist as a writers assistant for Wrong WayFilms LLC. They were creating a sketch show titled «The UN-​invited guest» starring Cris Judd. The show was intended to be a remake of the «Dean Martin Variety hour» but took place in a backyard. It was a cool concept. From there I wrote a ton of marketing campaigns for small business and a few larger corporate brands as well as some commercials.

Actors, this is a place you need to check out. I’ve been a member of TCD Studios for years now. Mike and Christina head the studio and they offer such an incredible array of services for actors. They go above and beyond to support actors. So often in this industry, actors feel they don’t have control over their careers, but TCD gives you so many opportunities to produce your own work, get great marketing materials, and put yourself out there. I’ve really enjoyed working with them, taping auditions there, and auditioning at TCD.

Both are warm and professional, and I couldn’t have been happier with my photo shoot (something I normally dread). I’ve been with TCD Studios for over a year and a half now and I stay with them because I believe wholeheartedly that they have a genuine interest in helping actors. Mike and Christina are all about integrity.
It’s a tough business and at the end of the day, It all boils down to what have you done for your career?
TCD encourages their members to self produce. Don’t depend on others to give you opportunties, but to be proactive and create your own opportunities. Think about it. They provide the space, the equipment, the scripts, the editing, etc. They allow your own creative spin on things. And on top of that they have several acting classes from cold reading to on camera with industry pros. And headshots once a month? How about individual coaching if you have an upcoming audition? How much do you think these things would cost you if you paid for them individually? A hell of a lot. More than the average struggling actor can afford that’s for sure. And definitely a hell of a lot more than what TCD charges.
When the average acting class is $ 200 to $ 300 or more a month in Los Angeles, this place is a steal! I encourage any serious actor at least check them out in person before writing them off.
I gave them maximum stars when I started, and I give them maximum stars now.

I’m soooo happy that I joined TCD. To be a member of TCD is more than just joining some school or studios, it’s like joining an awesome fun family. For me everything was new when I joined, I had no idea what I what to shoot, to learn, how to upload or edit videos. Everything was new!!! And Cristina and Mike were extremly helpful, the showed and explained me everything. Now I’m an active TCD member, I have my own youtube channel with my projects, I can attend any classes I want depending on my scheduale. TCD Studios really opened a totally new page of my carieer.

This place is amazing. Staff is amazing. Every other week I’m filming and uploading content for the world to see on YouTube. I had an audition and Christina took time out of her schedule to go over it with me. Any time I want to work on something they say «sure Denise» it’s a great community for actors who want to be dedicated workers in the arts.

Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place and the people who run it. The services and resources that they offer members are unbeatable, especially for the price.
Members receive on camera, cold reading, production and audition class each week. The audition training IS private. Headshots are also included with your membership. They will help you with the self-​tape auditions through coaching as well as having you shoot several distinct takes. No class, training or photo session I’ve had here was EVER anything less than awesome.
And that’s just the stuff you pay for. Every person I’ve encountered here is very friendly, helpful and gives extremely usable feedback. It doesn’t matter if you’ve got questions on a scene or if you’re asking for a bit of guidance for when you’re in an actual audition room — they will have great advice for you. Mike and Christina go above and beyond to help actors out in any way they can AND they’ll do it with genuine kindness.
They’re anti-​workshop (i.e. scam) and will instead help you come up with ideas to avoid paying for these things. Very ethical organization! The entertainment industry should be taking notes from TCD. Seriously.

TCD is great. They are very understanding and polite. It’s a wonderful place for actors to work out their scenes and get coached. They don’t believe in paying for scams, and I like that. They seem to be a good and honest group with good ethics too. I like their space, it’s good for many different types of scenes and settings.
They had a really unbeatable special today where you could get coaching and self tape for free. I did not feel any pressure to join, but I will definitely consider it and recommend them due to their caring, passion and kindness. It was a great way to come check out their space without any pressure.

TCD Studios has been a great resource for me and is for any actor. I’ve been a member since the beginning. Anytime I have an audition to put on tape I call them and they bend over backwards to help me out. I have more headshots than I know what to do with, I take classes all the time and they even wrote a web series for me. TCD Studios has saved me thousands of dollars. Starting next month, I’m taking a full on production class. I love this place and can’t wait to shoot my web series!

OMG! I CANNOT say enough about this place! It has been the answer to my prayers of finding a place to work on improving my acting skills without breaking the bank because I’m not disciplined to do it on my own! The monthly membership fee is less than what you’d pay for a 1 hour private session with an acting coach. It’s seems too good to be true, but this place is FOR REAL! I joined because I wanted to work on my craft when I wasn’t auditioning or on a shoot. Plus, the price is affordable, but then I was pleasantly surprised to learn everything else that comes with your membership, like headshots, PRIVATE 1 on 1 coaching, a web series developed especially for you! I mean it’s RIDICULOUS what all you get for your membership. Mike, Christina, Joe and Mantre are AWESOME and so giving of themselves. I love them all and I love spending time at TCD Studios!

This should be required for everyone in show business. Such a great, welcoming vibe. Mike is very knowledable. It is affordable and you definately get what you pay for and beyond. I am considering myself very lucky to be in this place. They are offering so much for so little of your money! For LA it seems just unbelievable. There is no any other sites or places where you can work on your skills, develop demo reel materials, get headshots and auditions.
