If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I first bought a groupon here, and then bought laser hair removal outright from them. They cancelled two of my appointments (which are booked 6 weeks out), were incredibly unhelpful, and then when I finally reached the manager, I was told I would be put on a waiting list. The girl WAS HORRIBLE Thankfully they closed

This company has very poor customer service. I was going to their Miami location which they closed 2 weeks before my next appt and never let me know. I showed up to an empty office. The people who work there are often rude. Their laser hair removal technicians are not at all conscientious. They miss large spots often. They are often too booked to make an appt and when you try to call them, their phone is busy. I have tried calling them every day for the past 2 weeks, at least 3 times per day, and I just get a message saying that their phone lines are busy. There are a ton of other choices for laser hair removal — go elsewhere.

I had good experiences here. It is hard to get an appointment sometimes.

Bought a groupon certificate for this place. I called 20 days before expiration date to make an appointment. The «person responsible» to make the appointments was not in, but it would call me back. I never got a phone call back.
I called few days later and spoke with Diana, which was the person that I needed to speak with in order to make the appointment.
I told her about the Groupon voucher I had and stated about the expiring date, which would be in 2 weeks from that day. Her response was, why did I take this long to call? I said never mind because I was going to try to get my money back from Groupon. Her response was indifferent.
Groupon peolple contact Pure Restorations and I was to hear back from them. Still no calls back.
Bottom line, horrible costumer service. Rude attendant. Indifferent to any situation that needs attention. And we know the end to this story… GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!

Thought I would try it out again and see if anything has improved. Nope.

Staff was very friendly but the six sessions of laser hair surgery didn’t meet expectations. Maybe they kept the setting on low because I had a Groupon. Then I was asked to purchase 6 more… I couldn’t justify it especially if I had doubts that it would work.

This company is a scam! Beware! I ordered their groupon lazer hair removal. This groupon expired in 6 months. I figured no big deal. Then I called to schedule a apoitment and it was 3 months away. Then I couldn’t make all the apoitments at once. You have to apparently wait until your at your apoitment to make subsquent apoitments. So you would get to use 2 treatments before the groupon expires

First, let me say that I haven’t had any work actually done on me at Pure. I made an appointment for a Fraxel which after evaluating my skin, it was decided by the technician that I did not need it. I called prior and asked if it was suitable for Fitzpatrick IV type skin, and it was confirmed ‘yes’. Afterward, when seeing me I was advised it was for more acneic conditions than mines as well as deep scarring of the dermis. I do not have acne anymore but I do have hyperpigmentation from old scars and wish to clear these up. She suggested all my problems could be cured with creams, so I guess I am glad I won’t need to undergo all that pain and downtime! I was only kind of mad that I drove all the way there but glad to be told plainly this is not for me. At least my skin is better than I’d originally thought, and I can just continue doing what has been working (Clarisonic brush and a good fade cream with SPF used daily).
Secondly, I made another appointment for laser hair removal on a small area and have to wait THREE months for an initial visit! This is totally unacceptable and just another example of business being overwhelmed by responses from Groupon. It shows exactly why businesses need to be more careful and limit how many Groupons they sell, or else the appointment times for waiting will always be ridiculous. I found a wonderful place called Velour Medspa in Kendall that treated me like a queen and even called me to let me know someone had cancelled so I could come in earlier and on a weekend (wow!). I am doing laser for full bikini here and they made me feel super comfortable. I left a nice tip and look forward to giving my money to other more reliable businesses in the future.
I don’t think that Pure is a ‘scam’ per se, they did try to send me to their other office in Hollywood but the Miami locale is closer and it was just not worth all the extra hoops I had to jump through to be penciled in on their schedule for the next 3 months. I called Groupon and they refunded me after I let them know I couldn’t get an appointment. Somehow I feel as though quality suffers when it comes to grouponers vs. people who pay full price, this is inevitable but don’t take it out on prospective customers whom might end up being regulars. If you make a bad first impression, you will lose when they tell 10 of their friends your place is shitty and to go someplace else. It’s too bad because I was really looking forward to giving this place a chance.

My first visit went well. I purchased a laser hair removal Groupon and had no problems using it. The office is nice and clean, and they took me right away. My appointment was fast and the staff was friendly. Only down side is that their phone lines are always busy and you might have to wait a month or two to get an appoitment. But excited for my second appointment!

Very rude staff and services performed are extremely low quality. I purchased Groupon and was able to book an appointment for laser hair removal. They do no even try to cover all of treated area with laser, hair grows back and you can see in underarms area technician just placed the laser head ONCE in the middle. Staff discusses their business in front of you, turn to answer question with the look as if they were doing you a favor, act as if THEY were all cosmetic surgeons. And I am talking about receptionists, receptionists new trainee and laser techs. Needles to say I will use my Groupon but never ever will go back or recommend this place to my friends.

I initially purchased one Groupon for Fraxel, from the Pure Institute. I’m 59 years old, and am starting to have sagging skin (Ugh! Disgusting!). Fraxel was nearly a miracle! I’ve since become a regular customer. «Pure» is an excellent facility, with well trained technicians. Be sure to discuss the Fraxel # (Mine was 42) — to get optimum results. 4 stars, instead of 5, only because getting an appt can be tough! Worth the wait, however!

This place is a complete scam. I ordered a Groupon in January and have yet to have an appointment here because they claim they are «overbooked.» The earliest date they had available in JANUARY was APRIL 16. Today I called again, planning to not mention that I have a Groupon to see if I could get different service — as soon as I gave my birthdate (I was caught off guard — should have lied) they said «oh you have an appointment the 16^th. I said, I understand that, but I was hoping to come in today or Monday. They said «the machine is broken and won’t be fixed until later next week so you should probably just keep your April 16 appointment.» Really? Your machine where you make all your business is broken for over a week? You were willing to give me an appointment until you knew I had a Groupon? SCAM SCAM SCAM. Currently waiting to hear back from Groupon about a refund.

Found this place through groupon for a 6 session for laser hair removal. I have gone through 3 sessions so far and I have indeed seen improvement. The staff is very nice and polite. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is their hours. They are open from 9am to 5pm and till 8pm on Wednesday and 7pm on Tuesday. Im really busy girl so making those times are really difficult, and availability for the late times appointments is limited (as they are highly demanded) I wish they were open on Saturday or at least an hour earlier so that I can come in before work. Other than that the service was good and the sessions is super fast.

I’ve been coming here for laser hair removal for the past 4 months and I love the professionalism and friendly demeanor of the staff. I’ve had laser hair removal done at other places before and this one has by far been the best. Their center is very clean and the laser hair removal is practically painless. They use top of the line machines which not a lot of places do. Also I purchased a groupon and haven’t had any issues. They also offer great touch up prices. Highly recommend!

So far, so good. I bought a Groupon for an IPL photofacial and scheduled an appointment. They were available to see me the next week, which was a pleasant surprise. I thought they would be overwhelmed with all the Groupon-​ers. On the other hand, it could be a shoddy place with no clients.
I should have researched IPL photofacials prior to buying, but I hadn’t. I read that some people developed PERMANENT burn marks, right on their faces. I also read that I have the ideal skin (super-​pale) for the procedure and these problems are much more common in darker complexions. Dermatologists advise testing a small, inconspicuous spot to see how your skin responds.
In any case, I called Pure Aesthetics back and asked if we could do a test spot. They were very understanding and accommodating, and said to keep my appointment. They would make it a consultation.
They reacted fine to me questioning the procedure. They didn’t say if my $ 99 Groupon was only going to cover the consultation.
I am happy to report that they were very pleasant, both the front desk and the technician. She did the test spot three days ago and it looks fine. She honored my request to use a very gentle setting and wrote the setting down in my chart. They also re-​scheduled the procedure for me, so it seems the Groupon will still cover it.
Several clients were scheduling their next appointments, so at least some people are happy with their results. The place was clean and not at all shoddy, in a respectable medical office building. There is free parking and a valet if you want one. It’s kind of silly though because the parking lot isn’t huge. Please note that traffic is bad in that area. I was 3 minutes late. They didn’t say anything about it and ran on time.
I will add that I made an effort to be extra sweet, polite, and smiley due to Unilocal-​ers here reporting rude treatment. This may have resulted in them being nicer to me than they would otherwise. If I have a problem with the procedure or next visit, I will re-​post here, but they have been fine so far.

I bought a groupon. I had a great experience. The girl who did my facial/​microdermabrasion/​chemical peel was very sweet and thorough and did really efficient work. Haven’t seen the overall result yet (just had the treatment) but I really enjoyed the experience. The only negative was that this place was a little confusing to find (at least for me!). Also, the esthetician was only available on tuesdays, which is difficult for scheduling an appointment, but she told me that they may be soon offering sunday hours.

Prior to purchasing a groupon for this place, I turned to Unilocal to find out if any of my fellow Unilocalers reviewed this place. Surprise! They didn’t have any reviews. (that should have been flag #1) So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchased the groupon from the Pure Aesthetics Institute for a facial fractional skin-​resurfacing treatment.
I had a scheduled appointment on 05÷11÷11 @ 5:30pm. I didn’t know how long it was gonna take to get there so I LEFT WORK EARLY to make it on time for my appointment. When I got there, I check in and the receptionist tells me to complete the ususal forms. I complete the forms and another woman comes out and tells me that the girl who was doing my treatment called in sick so they have to reschedule. For real? I was more than pissed! It took me over an HOUR to get there cause of my work location (Boca) to their office (Miami) and they did NOT call me to tell me this before making me drive out there!
Fine, I rescheduled for Friday (today) @ 1:45p. Yesterday, I received a call from them stating that «she should have told me this yesterday when she saw me, but they can’t do the resurfacing treatment on me because of my skin tone color, I am too dark.» She then told me that I could receive a facial or chemical peel instead, but I told her that the reason I even bought the damn groupon is because the price was highly discounted because A LOT of people bought it, the services she was offering me were NOT comparable to the facial fractional resurfacing treatment ($ 750). I could get any of those services for the same price I bought my groupon for ($ 99) AND I wouldn’t have to travel that far to get the same service (s) done.
So I asked for a refund. She told me, «OK, the girl at the front desk will be calling you to discuss your refund.» I still have not received a phone call to «discuss» a refund. I’m out $ 99 until they decide to call me to «discuss» the refund.
Not sure if anyone else bought this groupon and haven’t used it yet, but BEWARE.
