Pop’s Nursery

After checking around various nurseries, I finally found this place that had exactly what I needed and the right amount of plants that I needed, very friendly staff and conveniently located. Prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be back again.

Great knowledgeable staff, good service, good selection and reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? It was my first time visiting them, and I will be back again :)

I’ve been going to Pop’s for years and find it to be a small honest, earnest and hardworking business. Their plants are of top quality and if one is not, they will not allow you to purchase it. Their installations are top notch and reasonable. I highly recommend Pop’s.

A previous bad review on this place was given for no military discount, but I am active duty coast guard as well and was given a discount.

We’re rehabbing another house and the front yard is ugly. It had zero curb appeal so we needed some plants, shrubs, anything to spruce it up. I’ve passed by this place thousands of times but never had the occasion to stop in– until today! My bf and I don’t know one plant from another so we walked into the lovely nursery walking aisle by aisle to see what we thought would look nice. That’s when Jennifer approached us to give us a little guidance. She was super knowledgeable and juggling answering our questions and other customers. She even came back while we were trying to decide what to get and offered to load the plants on a cart for us. She also informed us that there was a 10% discount if we purchased $ 100 or more. With 18 plants and 8 bags of mulch we hit the spend criteria and Dave the owner who was ringing us up made good on the discount. He helped load the pick up truck with the mulch and plants. He also advised us how to grow more of «the purple ones» without buying another plant. I appreciated the knowledge. He’s been in business 21 years and knows his stuff. I must mention that Jennifer had a perfect manicure (gel because I asked!) but she wasn’t afraid to get dirty and it was clear she has a real passion for what she does. I highly recommend this nursery especially over big box stores!

Knowledgable and helpful staff. Beautiful place. They have a new manager.
They offer ornamental plants, exotic orchids, hedges, trees, palms, fruit trees, pesticides, fertilizers, fungicides, aquatic plants, rocks, mulch, sod, soil, sand, and basically anything you need to know for landscaping.
Open every day of the week, which is very convenient. They offer deliveries.

Will never return. My husband asked if they gave a military discount and the man asked which branch of service. We said we were Coast Guard and he proceeded to say «F*#k the Coast Guard». My husband said sorry he felt that way and we paid and left. Could not believe how rude they were after finding out we were active duty military.

Went to pops on a recommendation from a worker at Home Depot. I would say he was right bought almost a pallet of sod and some top soil prices weren’t bad.
Sod was in the shade so it wasn’t dried out in fact the truck had just pulled in with fresh sod. One of the workers loaded everything for me and I was off. Would use again if needed.

Awesome! Great prices and wonderful selection of tropicals and orchids. Charming atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff. If I lived in Florida, I could easily become an addict of this little nursery.
