I have been coming to this office for about 2 years and, despite being very happy with Nurse Practitioner Lori Brown, the experience of communicating with the staff is TERRIBLE :(It takes at least 2 – 3 calls to get anything done. My insurance requires referrals to specialists. How many phone calls and requests do you believe it should take to get a referral? From my experience: many. Many many calls, leaving messages, following up prior to appointment with a specialist and getting a positive answer. I called this office prior to specialist appointment to confirm that they sent the referral, I was told that the referral was done. In fact –it was not. There was no message in the system about my original request. So. Why do you think they told me it was done? My suspicion is that people who pick up the phones don’t even bother to think/check/verify the information they share with patients. They are incompetent and I have to pay for it with missed appointments, wasted gas, time and frustration. In addition, I can never get approval of refills from mail in pharmacy on time, which frequently leads to me paying a higher copayment in the regular pharmacy. I hope that the owner of the practice will one day see my review and address the low quality of service. I strongly advise you to find another office with professional staff that will care about your needs.
