Mady’s Deli & Cafe

I work in Hollywood so I go here once a week for subs. The flavor in the subs tops all other sub shops in Hollywood. Now I do like subologist as well but this place has so much flavor. The owner and staff are awesome and super friendly and always treat us right. They take care of you quick and make great appetizers. They have this dip thats like hummus but man it is so good I pour it all over my sub!

A friend goes here all the time for authentic Romanian food … so, one day I went with him even though I’m vegetarian & saw that you can have a salad with whatever ingredients you choose.
First, it was the best salad I ever had I think because of this awesome orange juice based dressing that the owner Mady makes herself.
I came back again with another friend who had ceviche — he said it was the best he ever had.
This place has a large beer selection, too, and outdoor seating.
The Romanian couple are good people who make great food, but don’t know about Unilocal,so I set this up for them. They say they’ve only been in this location for a few months (not to be confused with the previous place that used to be at this same address in the past). Plus, there’s an extremely cute Romanian waitress …
