The best café con leche! The food and service is great. This café is a hidden gem. There are not open in Sunday’s but I wish they were! We had bacon, egg and cheese on Cuban bread, very good!

It’s a small menu but with good Cuban food and a friendly staff. Aesthetically inside it looks way better then most similar Cuban places like this in Miami. I’ll be coming here more often now for sure.

Great food, I go here every morning for Cuban coffee and breakfast because it right next to my job. Sometimes, I come here for lunch. It been in the same location for years, in the middle of the warehouses, it serves the working people in the warehouses.
They also do deliveries, so that is good for me since I will be moving nearby.

The sign on the light industrial/​commercial strip of Pembroke Rd says «Cuban Cafeteria.»
It also says «Gun Range.»
Don’t be alarmed by the feeling that you’re on a set of a movie about some shady South Florida business as you drive past the rows of garage doors with body shops, ice cream truck hubs and window tinting businesses. You’re on your way.
La Ruedita occupies what used to be two garage bays — kitchen and counter in one, tables with TVs on the walls and soda cases in the other. There are some soccer jerseys on the walls and regulars hanging out at lunch time, and that’s about it for décor. But it’s a perfect setting for good, inexpensive Cuban food.
The day I was there the lady behind the counter had some roasted pork ribs that were meaty and flavorful. Rice and black beans and fired sweet plantains really made it all work. Top if off with a cafecito. (I think the espresso machine might be the most valuable thing in the place by far). Total bill for three of us eating the same things — about $ 25 with sodas. Great deal and worth the trip.
