I had a crazy day, trying to get off set to meet with Ali to put my audition on tape before the deadline. I had to rearrange my schedule with Ali and she waited for me to get there. The studio was already set up, we got to work and got it in a few takes. Very professional and I had the footage in literally 20 minutes. I’ve found my go-​to people for putting auditions on tape. Thanks Ali!!!

This is my go to place to tape auditions in LA ! They’re amazing, friendly and great quality. Not to mention the best deal I can find price wise. Make sure you try to book your slot as soon as you get your audition though as they fill up quickly.

I’ve been acting for 2 years and every time I need an audition taped, these kids are my first and only choice. Things come up in the business very, very quickly at times. Sometimes I need something taped the next day and I have ALWAYS gotten a quick reply from them. They’re actors too so you always get a good read and they’re prices are competitive. Did I mention they deliver everything super fast?

Fast, efficient, super-​friendly, customer-​focused, attentive, and sooooo reasonably-priced…much lower than a lot of other taping companies. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It was so easy to schedule an appointment, and I was in and out in 20 minutes, with absolutely amazing videos for my audition. I was very impressed with the quality of the work. Will definitely be recommending them to all my actor friends.

I was borderline obsessed with Boone and Ali when I watched their promo video on the website, so I was excited to tape with them. They did not disappoint. Professional, super efficient, yet warm and welcoming. My reps and I received my tape within an hour and my manager loved it!

I met Boone and Ali right when they started this business and I was immediately impressed. Now it’s been a year an they’ve grown so much. I recommend them to all of my actor friends any time anyone asks about self taping.
So what makes Intrepid the place to go for this sort of thing? First of all, customer service. These guys always make themselves available to serve you. If they’re too busy with other costumer appointments, they’ll find a way to accommodate you ASAP. Plus Boone and Ali are both super friendly and fun to work with but also very professional. Secondly, efficiency. You tape, they send your footage. It’s that simple. Done and done faster than anywhere else I’ve seen. Thirdly, quality. They’re studio is small but great for sound and has great lighting. The equipment they have is all great quality as well. So you can be assured that when you’re sending in your self-​taped audition, you’re going to be one of the few with top of the line footage. Lastly, price. Yeah, sure, everyone wants to use their iPhones and Macs to make their own tapes because it’s free. But I’m pretty sure just about anyone can afford Intrepid’s prices, especially for the excellent quality and good experience that comes along with it!
I will warn you that parking isn’t great. They’re located on LaBrea in a shopping plaza, right above an ice-​cream shop and liquor store. The lot is small and has a valet during certain hours and some spots are hour or less. But there is street parking around the area as well. You won’t be searching for a spot for hours but just be prepared and maybe give yourself extra time to park.

Professional and efficient with a great vibe and great results. Boone and his team are awesome and you will not find a better price in all of LA to put yourself on camera.

I am so grateful for their professionalism and kindness and ease of use. They got me in within a reasonable time, when I needed to get my audition tape ready and processed and I had my tape back to me within the hour. I don’t know if it always takes an hour or maybe they were all caught up on their daily videos, but either way, it was speedy and good. The reader was another actor with insight on the industry and a good sense of character judgment when reading the role.
I will definitely be using this spot again.

Awesome for taping auditions. Professional. Painless. Easy to make appointments. Lighted mirror to check your fresh and they take debit and credit cards. I was able to get in and get taped within 24 hours.
Location has a parking lot so need to hunt for street parking in Hollywood either. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love coming to tape with Intrepid. I’ve been a few other places but none make it as easy, as fun, and as convenient.
Ali and Boone who run the company are real actors, and great actors at that. They are fantastic to read with and I really trust their input.
I was called in for a pilot off of one of their tapes and I’m even taping my character reel with them as well.
They are game to help with everything and it’s a $ 1 per minute so it’s really up to you how much you end up paying.
The first time I went I honestly couldn’t wait to go back.
The only tricky thing is you have to email for an appointment but they generally get back to you right away.

OMG What can I not say about Intrepid Tapes. As an actor, for me, putting myself on tape is the WORST. I have always worried about my performance, the lighting, the sound, am I framed right etc… which in turn affected my performance and made me just not love the process of self tape auditions. WHAT A LIFE SAVER!!! Ali and Boone are amazing. They have always responded quickly, fit me in last minute, often taken my appointment after hours. My self tape auditions have NEVER looked and sounded so good. All I need to do is show up and have fun, they take care of all the rest. OH, did I mention that you get a professional reader too. Yeah. Seriously, if you are an actor and you need to be on tape and you don’t come to Intrepid Tapes, you are just dumb… I just can’t say enough about them.
