Oh my gosh, I just got my bathroom remodeled and their project manager «Yaniv», walked me thru the project every step of the way and it came out better than I could have ever imagined! I knew my bathroom needed work and was hoping for a nice revamp, but it feels so refreshing and wonderful. They really took into consideration everything I was looking for and made my vision come to life! Now after a long day, there’s nothing I want more than to race home and take a bath in my new sanctuary! I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an amazing remodel!

Jasson did a great job.
Our foundation were not only cracked we also hade a shifting in the deck. They came leveled the house and supported the foundation than they secured the deck to the ground and replaced all supporting beams.
Very professionals and highly recommended!

I am not a fan of new construction or any construction for that matter with all the decisions that have to be made, the mess and not knowing how long it’s really going to take, I was left with anxiety. After meeting Josh things started to become clear to me and I felt at ease with all the decisions I was making. He helped me to envision the masterpiece that we were creating. He came did measurements and went over all the information right there for my husband and I. Josh answered all our questions and left us feeling reassured about the journey we were taking. In the end, we absolutely love our kitchen and living room expansion and it was done on time!

I don’t typically write reviews but this is a special case.
I am the type of person who does his due diligence and research before hiring anyone for anything. I found these guys are exclusive in that they have been in business for 40 yrs and yet I found NO complaints. NONE. They not only broke down the process of building an addition from A to Z but actually gave me the option to shop around before finalizing my decision. I ultimately decided to hire Hanks construction based on their professionalism, presentation and patience. This became the best decision when it came to remodeling my home. They built a 550 sqft addition which included a bedroom, bathroom and living area. And although there are always unexpected events with building on to your home these guys went above and beyond to meet and exceed all of my expectations by clearly communicating with me through out the entire process.
In the end if you’re like me you will do your research and find out what fits your needs best but these guys are now MY builders for life.

About 7 months ago we hired HC to complete a remodeling project and a 2^nd floor addition at our house in Woodland Hills. The price was reasonable, but most importantly everything completed ON TIME. We just had a baby and could only move out of the house for a specific amount of time, which i personally was very stressed about, if they were not to finish on time, but they did. And did a great job! The team was always available for any of our questions whether via phone or email. Jason was our direct contact. Great guy.

It’s sad to say that I interviewed 5 different contractors and each one of them came with a total different price. After meeting Dina i realized that in order for me to move forward I need to start with architectural plans since no contractor can give an accurate estimate without detailed architectural plans. So I took her advice did the plans and only than she gave me the price.
Her price was not the lowest but I checked their license and called references and I’m glad for that since the references game me the peace of mind I needed. They build a kitchen addition for me and its looks great. I recommend for any one that planing to build to work on the plans first.
The job was clean. Detailed. They finish the project in less than 4 months as promised.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. I was looking for a construction company to work on an extension of my home and I am so thrilled to have found Hanks! I met with Jason, the product manager, who made me feel at ease and patiently discussed every step with me. Jason was a professional from beginning to end.
The extension came out exactly as I had pictured it! Not only was the job done in a timely fashion, the job was executed to PERFECTION. So happy with it.

They build a guest house of 800 squares with a kitchen and bath room. The entire project took 4 months and the quality was for my satisfaction.
I highly recommend them.
Jasson was very helpful and Mikey was a great project coordinator.
There is a room for improvement in the communication.
The price was fair.

We did lot of research and interviewed many contractors until finally we found Hanks through friend who highly recommended them.
We used Hanks for interior remodeling, new addition, and demolition.
The Hanks builders crew are extremely professional and the project manager Dina was always available to walk us through the process, answer any question and open minded for any changes.
We’re very thankful that we worked with them, everything went smoothly as we expected :))

Just can’t say enough about these guys! They really do Great work! ! They aren’t cheap in any sense of the word. I’d say they do More! Their pricing is middle of the road and I’m happy with their work!

I wanna start this off by saying, these guys are incredible. From every point in the process from when I was selecting someone to do my addition, to planning, to the actual build, they were there helping every step of the way.
I decided to do a small addition for my kitchen. I did the usual Google search and tried some other websites but it wasn’t until I looked on home advisor and noticed that they were the top of the list as far as highest rated and had good reviews on here also.
I decided to go with them after I checked out their license and did some research as anyone should. 40 years in business, no one else I talked to even came close! Do your research people! If they have a license that started 2010 or after, they aren’t on the same playing field!
The planning phase takes awhile and they let me know that upfront. Since this was the first time I was doing this, they were extremely helpful and knowledgable about the entire process.
Once we got the plans approved by the city, we were ready to go! They were extremely fast but efficient in everything they did. The project coordinator, the foreman and employees were very nice, helpful and always made sure I knew what was going on with my project, including during inspections.
There were a few hiccups with the project as some things needed changing in the plumbing. Which of course changed the project but they gave me the option to either do the change order with them (which made sense since they were already doing the work) but also said I could try and use someone else. I thought «these guys are pros with 40 years experience, why the hell would I use anyone else?» Lol
Anyways, after all was said and done, I’m extremely happy with everything. Not just in their work but the entire office, project managers, builders and everyone involved, made the whole process much easier than I expected. It doesn’t even come close to who I’m choosing for my next project.

This company did a great job to my client. They were working at my client’s house and i could tell right away how good they are.
Their specialties are complicated projects such as hillside areas. Well done guys.

Dinna and Jason were very helpful and available anytime I called.
The master bedroom addition looks amazing, exactly how we wanted!
We think the price was fair, plus– they work fast! weekends, holidays… which is great.

I don’t recommend anyone using them if you planing to complete the job in stages meaning take the time and do the job while you live in the property.
If you willing to move out during constructi than they will be a perfect fit. They work Saturday Sunday’s holidays they didn’t care for nothing other than finish the job as fast as possible.
They don’t speak pretty words but they getting the job done fast actually very fast.
The job look amazing and Yaniv was there for us all the way to completion.
They were great in the finish carpentry.
So for all the Unilocalers I would recomand hire them only if you willing to leave the house since they don’t stop and don’t wait they work with no window time.
They have a goal and they put as many workers as needed to stick to time frames even if it’s not convenient so as long as you willing to move out yes I would highly recommend them.

I cant recommend them for their price it was not the lowest, i choose to work with them due to the fact that they had 40 years of experience.
The way i obtained the information of the company was through a banner they put at my neighbor’s project so i could see the process with my own eyes it was fast and in 3 months they finished their job and they were happy so i decided to not take the chance and pay the extra as long as i got the same quality of job as my neighbor’s.
It was very disappointing that they didn’t want to match my other estimates and i think they took advantage of me seeing a final product that i really liked so they didn’t budge on the price.
This company is very expensive but if «a peace of mind» is what you looking for and you have the budget for it only than i can recommend them for you.
It was a smooth sailing their was no need for me to manage or babysit like i needed to do in the past with other contractors.
Bottom line i paid more than i should just to not take the risk of failure i knew with them the results would be for my satisfaction.
Don’t hire them for projects you can do on your own hire them only for the complicated detailed jobs.

I was stressed when I realized I cant get a loan to buy a bigger new home when im in my 6 months of my pregnancy expecting my 3^rd baby boy, we have only 2 bedrooms in our Granada hills home and its not enough. With the help of Mike and Dinna we were able to build a 250 sq addition for only $ 179 per sq with amazing master bedroom. The process was 3 months to completion and the job looks amazing.
I didn’t like to see the framing crew working all week include Saturday especially when it was extremely hot, I even asked Mike to give them the break they deserve but he said «We need to finish the job on time» I’m not happy with that but I love my addition and now we can live in dignity when each boy have his own room.
The office was there for me any time I called and I always reached Dinna after hours including weekends.
They should change the way they treat the framers I believe that everybody deserves a day off but as far as the job its look amazing!

Suggestions when using their service:
1. Don’t work with LEO if he’s the representative, if they assign him to you simply say NO and ask for
Dina or Jason.
2. Make sure that when Dina or Jason are in charge that they will be your only contact.
During the beginning I was nervous due to the fact that I dealt with Leo, but once I got in contact with their project managers I realized it would all be okay. They gave me their personal cell numbers and were always available for any question or request I had.
The second story Addition looks exactly how I imagined it to be. Although I must say I wouldn’t give them a high rating if I needed to keep contact with the first person they assigned me to, but the second story addition looks above and beyond my expectations, I would definitely use them again in the future.
I referred them to do a job for my mother to build a first story 500 Sq ft. addition and so far we‘re in the foundation stage and its going smoothly.
I gave four stars on my first review due to the fact that they weren’t done with the second project, but now that they’re completely done I’m changing it to a five! Completely satisfied !

I wanted a room addition to my home that looks like it was part of the original house. My house has a lot of architectural elements they had to match and I must say, they did a great job! The addition looks seamless and I couldn’t be happier with how it looks overall. They really listened to what I wanted while using their experience and expertise to make sure the room flows. I admire their work ethic and like how they keep their workspace organized and clean as much as possible. Living through the construction wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
I’m glad I went with this company. Thanks, Hank, we’re enjoying our new room!
