Dr. Rivas might do a great job, but who can tell when you’re out cold for surgery. The problem is that her back office can’t seem to get their codes correct so while you are trying to get your insurance company to correct the codes her office screwed up, Dr. Rivas sends your bill to a bill collector and you get harassed. Very unfortunate. I dropped her a letter and no response yet. Guess what, she was paid a few days ago and I got a harassing letter from her bill collector today. When my doctor friends complain about the medical system, I’ll tell them about Dr. Rivas and watch them turn red. In the mean time I’ll send Memorial Hospital a letter to put in my file to never allow her to work with my doctor so we avoid this problem again.
