Most fun place! Made friends with people at the bar from all over the world. Best bucket of run drink on earth. Friendly staff and awesome food! Burgers were majestic! Highly recommend!

Awesome experience great food the new menu and Chef prove DP’S is the go to location on the beach. The view is spectacular. And they have worked hard to change the culture. No more undesirable individuals nor their behavior. It’s getting a much needed face lift and the food I sout of this world. You have to try the whole wings and the best burger on the beach. And in the near future BBQ ribs and Chicken… Randy the bartender is a good as they get… check it out for yourselves and don’t forget to try the wings… best I’ve ever tasted.

As dive bars go this place is right up there Bar staff are fun and welcoming Randy is a real cheeky chap for sure will be there many times during our holiday in Hollywood

If dives are what you like, a dive is what you get. I personally enjoy throwing a few back with lively characters behind and around the bar. It was a fun, no frills experience in Hollywood Beach. Drink prices were not too bad and they had some decent specials. Randy was very cool and remembered all of my friends names without us introducing ourselves. Very important for a bartender at a causal watering hole!

A great dive bar on the Broadwalk with character to spare and ocean views. Lots of locals including myself frequent this joint and its easy to see why. Friendly bartenders (see Randy), cheap beer and a party atmosphere make DP’s a great bar to hang out at. I love the long outdoor bar with lots of ocean view stools! Come here for a good time!

Loved the sarcastic special boards outside the bar. We had bottles of beer, they were ice cold! Perfect. Bartender was very nice and quick. Bar looks a little worn, some of the liquor bottles looked very old. But still a great little bar, perfect to grab a cold beer.

First, this beach bar is the bar to must go to when you’re here at Hollywood Beach Boardwalk. Second, the people are friendly and so are the locals. The view is amazing and it’s comfort coming here to enjoy a beer or a simple piña colada.

I definitely had a great time at DP’s Beach Bar. Gloria was an awesome bartender — great attitude and personality, very helpful and great service. The signs on the boardwalk were hilarious and were the first thing that caught my attention and drew me inside. I plan to return when I move back in May. Great casual dive bar, nice people, hilarious regulars and very open to first-​time patrons.

Fun dive bar. Not the best for craft beer snobs– red stripe is there «fanciest» beer. Saw a few drunk hoe’s try to get in a fight here at one point so the environment wasn’t as awesome for that amount of time but they have funny signs and the server was nice, interesting place to people watch

Classic beach dive bar. 5for4 buckets, cool staff, best people watching on Hollywood Beach. No food, and if they served it, you wouldn’t want it. Stick to the libations.

Decent, laid back spot for a drink on the beach that’s reasonably priced.
This has become one of our standard stops for a drink when the boyfriend and I are at Hollywood Beach (not all that often honestly, maybe once a month at most). Great location for people watching! Drinks are reasonably priced and are usually poured with a generous hand by the bartenders who are always having a great time and making sure everyone else is too. Definitely a divey joint that draws a mixed crowd, but every time we go it’s a fun, laid back group, just enjoying an afternoon out by the water.
Most of the times we have been here it has been during the late afternoon/​early evening, so I can’t speak to other hours/​shifts. One time we were there into the evening and the bartender who came out for the night shift was not nearly as entertaining or friendly, but that was just one night so I can’t say how it is in the evenings regularly. Afternoon bartenders are great though, for sure.
Only complaints: Beer selection is standard bar beer, nothing unique or local. And no food! The food has come and gone at least once since we’ve been coming here (about the last 6+ mos) and when they had it, it was good bar food (had some good fish nachos once there). Otherwise though, I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a no-​frills, laid back beach bar with a fun atmosphere.

Our favorite dive bar on the beach. Excellent, entertaining bartenders that make a mean rum runner. I just wish they still had food!

We used to come here 10 years ago… alot! Really happy to find its still awesome. The bartenders are attentive and entertaining. Not feeling like a tourist here getting gauged with cheap drinks! Great view of boardwalk.

Moved down to Hollywood Beach a few weeks ago, since then I’ve been on the search for a nice dive bar near my condo. I think its safe to say DP’s is my new spot. Great view on the board walk to people watch. Bar tenders are pretty, and fun/​easy to talk to. Pool tables ($ 1.50) and basketball arcade machine inside give patrons something to do. Cheap buckets of beer $ 12 for 5, keeps me happy. Can’t speak about the food, but the menu looked like they have a pretty standard bar bites. $ 1 hot dogs and $ 3 shots of tequila during NFL games is not a bad bargain either. You’re likely to see some colorful patrons roll through, so it’s always interesting. I think the bartenders are responsible for the music playlists, so I’m sure it varies, but the night I was there Missy played some awesome classic rock songs. I hear they book live music on the weekends which is cool too, I’ll have to check that out. Will update review once I’ve gone a few more times.

Great service, great food, stiff drinks and the best view on the Broadwalk! Love this place. They recently hired a new cook and what they’re serving is awesome. Gotta try the blackened Mahi tacos.

Worst bartender in the world. watched him pour both drinks we ordered, he screwed up both drinks. How do you screw up a simple vodka cran. won’t be going back again.
