Dance Explosion specializes in children’s dance education! We are celebrating our 25^th season!

We offer Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Acro for children ages 3-​teens; from beginners to pre-​professional dancers. Our competition Dance Team has won numerous awards on both the local and National levels including National title winners. Our dancers have been accepted to many prestigious programs including the Joffrey Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Miami City Ballet, Orlando Ballet and many more. It is our goal to offer quality dance instruction for children and teenagers at affordable prices. We offer classes at recreation centers in Hollywood and Cooper City, as well as our Lincoln Park studio in Davie. We have Televised video observation available at the Lincoln Plaza.

History

Established in 1992.

Dance Explosion has been training South Florida Dancers for many years. We are currently celebrating our 25^th season! Our programs started in recreations centers 25 years ago and expanded into our current studio location.

Our studio location has three dance rooms with raised wood floors and marley surface to prevent injury.

Meet the Business Owner

Lori D.

Business Owner

Lori Duffy grew up dancing in South Florida. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida Atlantic University.

As a young dancer, her family was unable to afford expensive dance programs. She trained anywhere and everywhere that she could to continue her dance education. Lori feels that every child should have the chance to dance, which is why Dance Explosion prides itself on having the lowest tuition prices in South Florida without sacrificing quality. Dance Explosion students receive excellent professional training equal or superior to their higher priced competitors.
