Don’t know why there are so many negative reviews. This place is great. I go for the board games (which have very competitive, if not the cheapest prices). Staff is friendly. The space is HUGE, lots of tables to play on. Bathroom are clean. And the selection is great. If they don’t have it in store? Buy it online and you can pick it up there (after a couple days).

Price gouging is what they do at Coolstuffgames. Mtg Fat pack for $ 50? claiming low supply is outright disgusting! Support your LGS, just not this one. Go to Tate Games or Sunshine Adventure Gaming if you do not want that terrible taste in your mouth

What more do you want?
Items are always a fair price (they can actually compete with my Amazon Prime membership), usually in stock, and customer service is generally ok.
Sure, you’re surrounded by teeny-​boppers occasionally, but that’s just part of the gaming community.
Once a month (on rotating Saturdays) they welcome the public for open board gaming. Just show up with your games and competitive spirit and settle in for the long haul. They have snacks to fuel you (although they could get some Virgil’s cream soda up in there) and people are welcoming, smart, and open.
Try it! You might like it.

This stores great for play all the major card games like vanguard, yugioh, Magic, buddy fight, POKEMON, and weissswarch. The products are also top notch and the staff is very friend and also down to earth. this is one card shop you won’t regret going to

I recently started coming here instead my other local shops and now have been coming at least 3 times a week. My friends and I love coming here buying some packs of our favorite card games, getting some cheap drinks and snacks that they have for sale, and spending hours just playing and meeting cool people there. I can honestly say this is hands down the BEST Locals in South Florida. No one has better deals on what they sell. There is a huge amount of space here compared to other locals around Florida and the staff is great. The system they have for buying/​selling singles is amazing and saves a lot of time. Wish I had started coming here sooner. ⁵⁄₅ Stars

«I really want to get a new board game tonight!»
If this is what you said while searching Unilocal and finding this store, you are in for a big let down. Simply put: this is a CCG store. Sure, they have board games in the front, but even a cursory inspection will reveal this store for what it is… a showroom of meh.
They consistently get new releases several days (or as much as a week) after every other store (and there are three better ones within 10 minutes driving), their staff knowledge is pathetically underwhelming and the product they do have is not very exciting.
As an avid board game collector (I have 250 titles in my collection), I think I am qualified to judge a game store. This one gets a D+.
Let’s talk about the one thing they do right: price.
IF you preorder online (and you are in no hurry to have the game), they will ship the game down from Orlando at no charge and typically at 30% off of MSRP.
Personally, I’ll pay the extra $ 15 to buy a game from a store that cares enough to stock their shelves with quality new product as opposed to more than 10 copies of Arkham Horror and Quarriors expansions…

Excellent selection of MtG singles and a large competitive scene. They play host to large groups of magic, yugioh and pokemon players. It’s a great place to go for a game, and a better place to go for a competition. The biggest problem is with a large crowd of this type of gamer you do tend to get a very distinctive odor throughout the store.
They just moved to this location from the old one a couple months ago at most… the new store seems to be larger and have a more open feel. They have some board games, and all of the TCG’s Im aware of. You can order online and have it delivered to their store… they also have the prices from the internet in their shop, which can’t be beat.
The biggest downside is sometimes the people who go are far too competitive, and of course the aroma of the unwashed masses.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
I placed a order with them on ²⁄₁₅. This was a order for cards needed for a event I was going two on ³⁄₁. Their website said the delivery time frame was 5 to 12 days. This was from Maitland FL to Miami. Something that normally takes a few days. So when we reached ²⁄₂₇ and my package hadn’t arrived I called the company and spoke with Anthony. He told me that time frame was just «estimated» and «there is no time frame for arrival». I then requested at refund since my order hadn’t arrived and I had to order the items at a local shop to have them when I needed them. So Anthony said he’d enter the shipping claim and refund my money since I requested to cancel the order and get a refund. So checking my mail box yesterday, the order I canceled was in the mail box. So I call the company today and get Anthony again. He tells me «that all the orders that shipped on that day when to the wrong UPS warehouse (a very large amount of orders) and I was the first to complain that I didn’t get my order». So rather then canceling the order like I requested (which he agreed to do) and refunded me for the items I no longer needed, they decided to send me the order. Now I have to take more time (which is money) and send it back to them to get the refund I requested a week ago. Best part is at first I was to send it back out of pocket, then only after did they «find a way» to email me a pre-​paid shipping label through Fedx. But the repackaging, materials and time to send it back are at my expense.
(Edited ³⁄₂₄) As a added note. I decided to drop the order they mailed to me after canceling and when I got there, the guy at the register told me that this other representative could handle the return. He was standing two feet behind him texting on his phone and continued to text even after heard the conversation and was asked by the other rep to handle the return. His personal business was more important the handling the concerns of a upset customer.

These guys changed their location, so I feel I should revise my review now. Again, speaking as someone who DOESN’T come here to play games:
The new location is HUGE. My gripe with their previous location was that it was super small, and in order to browse the board game selection, you had to stand directly over the patrons as they played their games, which was a bit awkward.
That’s no longer even remotely the case. Better still, they’ve greatly expanded their selection as well. It’s actually worth coming here just to browse now.
Cool Stuff Games still has, bar none, the best prices on board games on the market (if I’m mistaken, please feel free to message me otherwise). These guys will save you $ 10 to $ 20 consistently on new board games, and that’s just amazing.
Unfortunately, I live a bit too far to make it worthwhile to regularly commute to this newer location, but I was very impressed during my visit.

I love board games. I love getting a group together for a game night and enjoying a good night of healthy competition and most importantly, fun.
I have attained a nice collection of party games and am always on the lookout for new games. I was on the hunt for a particular obscure title and the internet led me to this fine establishment.
Walking in, the person behind the counter immediately greeted me and offered his assistance. The title I was looking for was not in their stock but they said they could have it shipped from their Orlando store and ready for pick up the next day. Not bad. I like that kind of service. All the while, the gentleman was very polite and helpful.
The store is pretty big with varied inventory for the casual gamer to the hardcore, intense gamer. Very clean, well lit, and with lots of tables to host gaming sessions. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. I just wish they had a closer location. Two thumbs up!
