Contour Hollywood Spa

I came to this spa in July 2014 for a Brazilian wax that I bought on Groupon. The experience was horrible. I assume that my appointment was the last of the day… the front door was locked when I got there. A man who I would assume is the owner opened the door for me. The place was empty and the situation was rather awkward. I could tell by his body language and later by the waxer’s as well that they were waiting for me and were basically in a rush to close for the day. Did I mention this was my first time getting a bikini wax? In the room, the waxer tried to be nice asking me if it was my first time and telling me it wasn’t so bad. But it definitely WAS that bad. I have friends who have gone to professional salons and get waxed all the time, and I have gotten other body parts waxed at other places, so I know that this salon was completely unprofessional. They use dated hot wax, which she double dipped into the pot with the same tool she had been using on my intimate area. It was very unhygienic. It was also pretty warm in the salon, so the temperature plus my nerves plus the hot wax and what seemed to be the waxer’s lack of experience was a recipe for disaster. I was sweating nonstop so the wax wouldn’t stick to my hair to get it removed. Let’s just say the whole situation was very uncomfortable, awkward, and most importantly, painful. Also, the makeshift rooms had open tops (like a cubicle) so the initial man could hear me groaning and talking. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. Groupon refunded my money immediately but I want others to know about this experience. Extremely unprofessional and unexperienced, I would definitely not go here again and would not recommend others to go here either.

Made an appointment for 5:30 and the owner tells me” be sure not to be late” I show up right on time, even though it’s raining. When I get to Fion’s spa, it’s anything but that. Some man tells me to have to a seat and someone will be with me in 5 or 10 min. Then I notice that the nail tech. Has just started someone else and is starting to scrape off customers gel nails. I mention to him that, I’m on time like u asked. So he switches the nail tech to another customer, and brings out another nail tech. So I’m thinking that now she will start my nails, but no. She puts another lady in the seat. I wait another 10 min. And the owner goes to hide in the back. Finally, I tell him I can’t wait any more, and he waves me off. I went across the street to Hair industry salon-​2000 Harrison street and the owner Kim is the most personable and professional person. Great service, don’t waist your time with people that act Pompous and try to make you feel small. The way he acted, you would’ve thought that he was doing me a favor!!! I would like to give him a clue, but I’m sure he thinks he knows better. He’s to good to even give me an excuse. No worries, hair industry salon is much better, cleaner and more personable, guess I got lucky after all!

I went to this salon back in February and I enjoyed the customer service experience. The salon was clean and most of the staff was nice. My nail technician was nice and we had a great conversation while she was doing my nails. However, she cut too much of my nail cuticle on my foot and it was pretty painful for a while. It took 2 months to really heal and the scar is just disappearing. Overall, I give the salon a 3 out of 5 (I would have given it more stars but I have never experienced being cut badly when getting my nails done).

They are a block from where i work and one day that i was walking by i just came in and had my nails, feets and facial. The price was really good so, i was a little worried. No way, i was so happy when i finished that i actually bought two more packages for my mom and my husband!

I went there for a Brazilian wax. The place itself is lovely and clean. The girl at the front desk is polite and friendly. The lady who did the wax is a bit on the serious side, but nice nonetheless. The wax job itself was not good at all. ‘Everything’ was not completely removed as it should have been. I’ve been to other waxing places that do SUCH a better job. I also realize it is the individual performing the waxing that makes all the difference. I did not get this lady’s name or I would have provided it here.

Great location, right in downtown Hollywood. This was my first experience with any body contouring treatments and the esthetician took excellent care of me and explained everything very thoroughly. The treatment felt like a massage. I felt very comfortable with the whole staff and have returned so far for 6 cavitation sessions. I definitely see and feel results! If you need any Spa or Med Spa service I definitely recommend this spa!

I usually don’t go to any spas or salons, but I heard good things about Fion’s so I went with my girlfriend and we loved it. Really great atmosphere, cool people and great customer service. We plan on going back to try some of their other treatments.

AWESOME ATMOSPHERE! super clean, very professional. It’s a great location, easy to get to and super cute inside! Sheryl, the front desk manager was amazing at getting me in for my treatments and working around my busy schedule. I had the ultra cavitation treatment and Yenni was awesome. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable. Being in the beauty industry I pay close attention to little details about atmospheres and customer service and Fion made me feel at ease. I highly recommend this spa to everyone!
