Comfort Inn Near Hollywood Walk of Fame

STAY AWAYYYYYY!!! Omg I don’t even know where to start but please do yourselves a favor and DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. The Indian man who runs this place is the NASTIEST person I’ve ever met in my entire life. First off location is terrible. You don’t want to stay in this area, besides the Walk of Fame there’s nothing else to do around here, plus that’s a 20 minute site seeing and you’re done. Stay in another part of town! Everything about this hotel is a disaster. DONT STAY HERE!

We «Did the Comfort Inn Deed.» No, I don’t mean THAT deed… I mean the deed of staying at the Comfort Inn… anyway, We had a pleasant two night stay. Good value in a Great location!

I agree with Inger H., Front desk guy was sooo rude and unprofessional, place is nothing special. pricey for what u get. keep looking for another Hotel, trust me!

The employees at this location are so rude. I called and asked to speak to the manager. The (2pm 2−2−16) employee said «he is not here». I asked when he would be available. The same employee said «I don’t know. I don’t make the schedule». I then called later about 6pm the same day. I asked to speak to the manager. A different person answered the phone. He said” What do you want?” I said it’s a situation that has to be resolved by the manager. The employee said «If you don’t want to tell me what’s wrong, then don’t call here!» He then hung up the phone on me. I have never witnessed such custoer service. I even emailed the manager by way of the address I got from the customer service representative. He never did respond. I didn’t even show up for my 2 night stay. This was ridiculous. Good bye forever Comfort Suites!

I recently stayed at this Comfort Inn for the first time. I chose this as it was the closest to a beloved friend that was at a nearby hospice. I have stayed at other hotels in LA in the past to be close to Holly. This was my favorite. The manager Anisur, and his soon to be back at university son Taha were like a family away from home that made what could have been a very sad trip one of the best. The room as requested was in the quieter area of the hotel. The breakfast was amazingly good as described. The size of the room was great, and all about the place was as the title says COMFORT ! The price was very affordable and a value for the excellent service. I, and my partner highly recommend this place, and thank Hassan, and all the other great people that made this visit a COMFORT.

This place was close to almost everything. The staff was so nice. The front desk people were like old friends. I would stay again no problem. Clean, convienent, and friendly.

This was a great deal for Halloween in Hollywood! Front desk staff was super friendly and funny, as well as the other workers there! Made me feel very welcomed. Room was very nice and clean altho bathroom was a bit small… free parking! 1 space per room
This hotel is within walking distance to shops like Ross, Ralphs and 7 eleven as well of tons of food places… check out tacos gavilan… BOMB!
Overall had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

This is a great place for the bargain. Free wifi, free parking, free breakfast and a pool. Great customer service. It is also really close to hollywood boulevard. Parking is really hard to find and you basically have to pay to park everywhere around here so it is nice that this place has free parking. It was also clean and I don’t know what people are talking about concerning the service. Anisur checked us in and out and he was very hospitable and the nicest guy. I would stay here again.

I go to school in Los Angeles, and I’ve stayed in many hotels around the city when family and friends come to visit. I worked an event this weekend on Hollywood Blvd, and wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance so that I wouldn’t have to commute to Hollywood multiple days in a row. I wasn’t expecting much from this hotel when I saw the price, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
Pros: Location, free parking, clean rooms, continental breakfast, free WiFi, comfortable beds
Cons: Location (goes both ways), slow WiFi, mediocre customer service
The neighborhood doesn’t look too great right here, but it’s safe as far as Hollywood goes. It’s a quick walk to Hollywood Blvd. near the Walk of Fame, Hollywood and Highland, Chinese Theater, etc. This is a huge financial advantage since parking a car in Hollywood tends to be quite expensive, and the parking at the hotel is free (for one car).

Stayed there on a weekend. Location is quite close to major attractions in the area. Price was a little expensive but parking is free in their private lot and breakfast, which was quite good is included. The dining area is very clean and the breakfast area was well stocked. You also get $ 8 off Madame Tussaud’s by showing your room key. The room was very nice with a view of the hills. Very nicely appointed with nice furniture and clean sheets. Only complaint is that the door lock had some issues which was promptly fixed by staff. Overall great experience and will stay there again.

Let’s just start by saying that I hate Hollywood Blvd. and never went there even when I lived in El Lay. But it just so happened that my trip was timed just a couple of days after Robin Williams’ death so I really did have to spend a day there. My DH is a Diamond Elite member so I took advantage of the free room. The rooms are small but clean. It is also located across the street from a 7 – 11 and less than a half block walk to Wendy’s and Burger King. Starbucks is just next door and there are many phở and noodle joints nearby. Breakfast is served in a tiny area but I just took my food back to the room. The owners are very pleasant but they do get busy around checkout and check in times so please be patient with them.

I’ve seen alot of People write bad things about the manager Anisur, i just need to say that he was Very nice! Very helpful and happy! Nothing bad to say about him! Maybe he has changed?
We had a room on the second floor. The room was OK. You get what you pay for ;)
I like that we had free parking and breakfast!
People who’s complaining it’s far away from Hollywood blv is just lazy! It took us 10 min tops to walk there. But we are from Sweden and like to walk so…

Great spot for vacationing in Hollywood if your touring around and not spending a lot of time at the hotel. Stayed here for two nights.
— Staff were very friendly and helpful for setting up tours.
— Fast and easy check-​in.
— Clean rooms, looks like they have been renovating.
— Good shower, fridge and microwave in room.
— Bed and pillows were comfy.
— WiFi worked good for me.
— Free breakfast, your standard continental.
— Free parking, not a huge parking lot so I would get there early.
— They have a pool and fitness center, I didn’t have a chance to check it out.
— Be-​aware though this location is a little noisy with sirens and what not because its right on the main drag of Sunset Blvd.
— 7−10min walk to Hollywood blvd.
— Near a grocery store and restaurants. (Near a very busy in and out burger location)
I would stay here here again if I wanted to be in this area of LA.

Good, but not great. No-​frills. Fine if you’re looking for a place to sleep.
It’s a three block to Hollywood Blvd (Chinese Theater, Hollywood & Highland complex, etc). We were also able to walk to the Red Line subway station, which we took to downtown Los Angeles, and then on see the Space Shuttle Endeavor near USC.
Free parking (limited to one vechicle) and nice breakfast. We stayed there during Spring Break. Lots of tourists staying at that time, looking for a reasonably priced place in Hollywood. If you’re expecting the «glitz» of Beverly Hills, you might want to look elsewhere (and expect to pay $ 400+ a night).

For the most part, the staff was kind.
However, we came in two cars. I asked for a second car pass. I was told no. I explained I had paid over $ 1000 for my stay at this location. Is there not a way?
The young person who worked behind the desk at 7:00 PM on Saturday August 30 said, «What do you want me to do? Play Tetris with cars?»
The young man then pointed out, «I don’t like to play the rules on the wall card, but it is right there» and then pointed.
It is not an issue at being told no. It is an issue as to how I was told. I found his response to me to be very demeaning– to the point that we cancelled all other reservations through my friend who stayed with me on our journey back to Kentucky. While at this location, we had to pay $ 20/​night for parking our second car in a lot around the corner.
I prepaid over $ 1200 for this stay. I am a Director of HR Training for a cruise line, and if any front desk spoke to a passenger in this manner, there would be serious consequences. I have also reported this issue to Google.

Free parking, clean rooms, and a good location. That’s all we needed for a one-​night stay after spending a day (and late night) in Hollywood. Keep in mind that’s probably the goal of most of the clientele here. If you’re looking for a hotel where you can spend a lot of time resting in the room, relaxing by the pool, and enjoying the food and amenities… then consider staying elsewhere.
The surrounding area and exterior of the hotel don’t look fabulous, but the rooms were nicely renovated with a comfortable bed, fresh bathroom, and full-​length mirror (good for getting ready for a night out, and oddly not standard at many hotels!).
We didn’t try the breakfast and had no special requests, so I can’t speak to those aspects of the services. But the front desk manager was friendly and kind to us, and we had no issues during our stay here.

We just spent one night, and we checked early, the guy from the lobby was very thougtful and tried to give us a clean room as soon as possible.
The staff from the hotel was 100% great.
The area… Well, it was in sunset blvd so you cant expect a good area, but the location is great for the walk of fame.
The room was clean and comfy, it looked old but remodeled and not very noisy.
Breakfast was in a tiny place but ok

I don’t normally care about the attitude of the staff when staying at hotels, just cleanliness and safety. However, after cursing out my boyfriend on the phone and threatening to cancel our reservation for simply asking if I could check in prior to his arrival, I had to include it in my review. If you’re drunk on Sunset and need a place to crash, this hotel is fine. Otherwise, beware of the temperamental manager, he may cancel your reservation. As far as cleanliness, I uploaded a photo. Yuck.

Owner and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and our room was nice and clean. Premises could use a facelift/​modernization, but I’m sure that will come soon enough (and it really wasn’t an issue for us anyway).
Aside from location and the free parking, the best part of our trip was the complimentary breakfast! Waffle-​maker, sausages, omelet patties, breads/​pastries, yogurts, cereals, and coffee/​juices were awesome! We had a hearty meal that helped fuel us through a busy day of sightseeing!
This is a great budget-​friendly hotel if you’re just looking for a comfy spot to crash at the end of the day… it was exactly what we needed.

This was a descent hotel within walking distance to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I booked for the Hollywood Half Marathon and was happy to see that it was just around the corner from the race start. The room was clean and the staff members were very friendly. A free hot breakfast every morning until 9:30 is included, free Wi-​Fi, and free parking (which is hard to find in Hollywood).
The downsides were the dining room was very small. Really just 3 tables and the serving area gets crowded when there are 2 – 3 people. The other challenge was the parking lot was small. The first night we arrived after 11pm and had to have the front desk person move their car because the last spot was taken. Other nights we had a spot, but usually it was the last spot. But those were the only downsides and they worked out okay.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to people wanting to be in Hollywood without the prices at some of the larger places.
