I’ve been here twice. The most recent time I was there I noticed they had started to sell records. Typically, I spend most of my time there going through the discount CDs and DVDs. That’s where you can find the more obscure titles. The discs I’ve gotten there have always been in great condition and it seems like they upgrade some cds with new jewel cases, because I’ve never seen a scuffed up or cracked case there. The staff is friendly and there are some real characters that frequent the store.

I am huge on Unilocaling companies that do a wonderful job and rarely if a company is doing horrible. I must admit, I am shocked at the level of service I received. I took my iphone 6 to get repaired here. The lady at the counter was extremely nice and mentioned after repair I would have 30days to come back if after I have any problems with it. I thought that is wonderful since I did spend around $ 100 to get the screen repaired. Keep in mind, my screen was broken but still had full functionality for months until I brought it here.
After a few weeks I noticed my phone kept going to mute and hold. I did not have time go back in because of my crazy work schedule. I finally made the time about 3 ½ weeks in my 30 day time frame (with receipt) The nice lady was not there but there was someone else there, not the guy that originally repaired the phone in the back but someone else. I forgot his name. Anyhow, he gave me attitude when I came back stating it has almost hit 30 days (BUT IT WAS NOT) almost is not the same as 30 days and over by the way. I explained to him what was happening and he states that changing the screen would not cause that to be happen but that he would change the screen and call me when its ready. I should have marked the screen so I knew if it was really changed out or not. Less than an hour later he calls me to say its ready. I pick up the phone and several calls later the same issue is happening. I really do not believe he did anything and he had no regard to the issues I was having and no empathy regarding what I have been experiencing since the «repair».
Either way, I do not recommend them. I was completely dissatisfied with the level and quality of service I received. NOT TO MENTION A PHONE THAT KEEPS GOING TO MUTE/​HOLD WHILE ON A CALL. Which makes my phone pretty useless unless I’m on headphones. Please tread with caution if you attempt to repair your iphone here.

One of the best customer service experiences from start to finish. I called to find out if they can do a simple screen replacement for an iPhone 5c. The price was lower than another place that I called so I figured I can hang out and browse while they fix it. When I got there, the tech asked if I was the one who called, he had already set aside the necessary parts and he said it should be done within 10 minutes. There was also a problem with the battery on the phone, so he replaced the battery at a reduced charge. To make a long story short, the phone stopped working after the battery replacement. When I brought the phone back 20 minutes later, he asked me to leave the phone there for a bit so he could confirm that it was working before he gave it back to me. (turns out that both new batteries were bad, third one worked). What made this a great experience is that from the moment the tech realized there was a problem until it was resolved, I was kept completely informed of the progress, offered a free upgrade if wasn’t resolved in a timely manner (which it was), etc.
You rarely see a business that treats customers like this.

Really good prices on retro games for all types of game consoles. They have games for NES, SNES, GameBoy, GameBoy advance, PS3, XBox, PS4, PS2, and probably other I am not aware of. Great prices, even beats Amazon prices, and you’re helping out a local business. Also an excellent collection of CDs, DVDs, and BluRays, as low as $ 2.99. And for every 5 items you buy, you get a free item worth $ 2.99. The place smells nice too, and has good music playing. Very attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

It isn’t fancy. It smells like an antique book store. That said, you can definitely find some great deals here.
The wife practically lives at the baby clothing store next to this place. Love that baby, but the allure of shopping for baby clothes ended for me long before it ever began. Whenever I am dragged along, or kidnapped without knowing our destination, if I wind up in walking distance of this store– like a moth to a flame, I take the opportunity to stroll on over while the wife shops for the baby clothes… If you aren’t looking for the latest and the greatest then this is your place. I personally mostly check out the music cds. The prices for are far better than those at Gamestop for used games. My most recent find was a game for the PS3. I am far from any so called gamer as I only own 2 games and lack the want to take time to play as I don’t have the time or need to play. Always preferred to go out and play actual sports and or seize the day. While I’m heavily considering upgrading to the PS4, I’m still interested in putting the old model to good use and saving money for actual important matters. I’ve heard rumors that the PS4 will soon be able to play PS3 games as well, I’m waiting on confirmation.
Either way, this is a great place to reminisce on old memories. Movies, CD’s… The people that work here are pretty knowledgeable and are willing to go the extra effort to help you find whatever you are looking for.

I haven’t been in a used CD store since college in Boston… is that awesome little CD trading store still there down from Fenway Park? Anyway, this store has such a great selection, I don’t know where to start. The store front is so tiny, I almost just thought it was maybe a guy at a counter fixing phones. Nope. I was dead wrong.
They have about every genre of music. They have used dvds and even some used retro electronics. They have more stuff in the back, but this visit I focused on the music CD selection. Most of the CD’s I looked at ranged from $ 3 – 10. I picked up a vintage Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong duet collection CD, a Bebel Gilberto CD and a dance trance bar cosmopolitan mix CD. I also grabbed an amazing Billie Holiday classics collection CD. There are headphone stations so you can listen before you buy! YAY! Along with a couple other CDs, I was out of less than 30 bucks!
The lady helping me was a sweetie pie! I didn’t quiz her about the place because I was on a time crunch, but I will be back, now that I have to Dj my own fitness mixes…$ 2 a song download online? EHN!

Its got to be one of the only places around that sell used CD’s /​Vinyl /​iPods /​and Retro Video Games (Talking original Nes, Super Nes, Sega, Atari, all that.)
They also do repairs to all kinds of electronics, I broke the back of my iPhone and they fixed it same day for not to much money.

I’ve been going to cd trader for 8 years it’s a great place to get used CDs and DVDs. They seem a bit old school but they have a variety of services. You can trade in a lot of items and it’s great for kids in school to sell their iPods of old phones. They also sell iPods and cell phones like new for pretty cheap. My sister sold her old iPod there and then a few years later bought the new iPod 5 from there it was cheaper then a lot of other places. They have a great price on Blu rays. Also tons of TV series. Great place to check out.

CD Trader is one of the last used record store holdouts in the Miami /​Ft. Lauderdale area. They make it work by also offering used and repaired electronics. In addition to CDs, games and DVDs are also for sale. Vinyl is offered, but on a small scale. The CD collection (my main interest), is mainly focused on mainstream artists, especially rock and pop. Jems can also be found in the classical and jazz sections. I happen to be currently interested in the «American Songbook,» of which there is always good representation in Jazz. I have also purchased 4 used iPods there, and was mainly satisfied with the purchases. One of the iPods had a defect, but I was easily granted a replacement. The owner and staff are very friendly. Just be advised that if you are bringing in CDs for trade-​in, make sure the disks are in good condition, and that they are well-​known CDs that may be easily re-​sold.

Fixed my cracked iphone 4 screen in under an hour and it looks better than the day I bought it! Thanks!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, back in the day it was for video games and cds and nowadays I’m a record collector so I’m always digging through their crates for some good vinyl. I usually never find anything more than one good record that I want to buy but that doesn’t matter because I respect this place and they have a lot of cool stuff and vintage video games.

cheap, fast… LOOKS better then new (cause i had white and now its black!!!) 8)

Good collection and atmosphere. Older DVD’s are 2.99 and newer ones are 4.99. I always find obscure titles that I’m looking for. The used cd collection is huge. Check it out and find some good deals.
