Aspen Hair Salon

After reading all the recommendations my expectations were pretty high. My hairdresser was very amiable and thorough, and seemingly tried his best, but I can’t say I’m blown away by the result. Also, I don’t think that the price list of the place is reasonable.

I have been coming here for at least a year now and always have a great experience! The salon has a tight-​knit group of stylists and it feels very warm and welcoming inside. Deanna is amazing at color – seriously, the best colorist I have ever had! And, she is very sweet and friendly! I highly recommend her and Aspen!

A few days after posting my review, Debbie gave me a call and asked if I would like to come in for a re-​do. Because of the hope I had for this company, I decided to give it a go — and I am happy that I did! Ameena, along with the advice from Renee, was able to give me the haircut I desired, full of layers and healthy looking hair. She told Kelly to use the frizz control shampoo and conditioner on my hair, and then used the same line’s oil leave in conditioner to help the blowout last. We went with straight for the second blowout, and after blowing and straightening it, it was beautiful and bouncy and I was much happier with the result. Thanks Aspen Hair Salon for giving it another try!

I am very happy with my cut. Deanna called me and told me she was running about 15 minutes late which was really considerate. She took her time with me consulting and trying to figure out what was best for me because she wanted me to be happy. I destroyed my hair, which is fine and thinning as I get older. She wanted to help me keep my length and when I left I looked like I had a healthy, full head of hair, more than when I went it with. She taught me how to style my hair too. She was fantastic!

I have found a gem! Everyone is so friendly, makes you feel at home. Deanna stayed late to make sure my hair was perfect. Being my first time here, I know she had a challenge, but she had patience with me and it turned out wonderful. Awesome with the highlights! I truly recommend coming here if you are looking for a «forever salon». I have lost 4 hairdressers in 6 months. Due to they quit and don’t tell you where they are going. You know how traumatic finding a new hairdresser is! These ladies and gentleman Have been here for years, and I see why. The atmosphere is so relaxed and homey. Everyone I saw walking out looked great! Give them a try, you won’t regret it!!!

I absolutely loved this place! It’s a scary thing having to find a new hair salon. I just moved to Hollywood a few months back and after reading the reviews here I gave it a shot. My hairdresser was Justin. He is super professional and really knows how to communicate. Time went by quick and I left there really happy. I went for a cut and partial color (a vavavooom change) and Justin nailed it. I am really happy, can you tell?

I’ve had some terrible hair stories in my day so after my last hair disaster I decided to research and found Aspen Hair Salon… I am so lucky that I did! Justin was amazing! My hair looks so beautiful! He was so knowledgeable and you can tell so well trained and precise, you’ll never have to worry about getting an uneven hair cut from him! So happy, they’ve found a longtime customer… well as long as Justin is there!

I haven’t had my hair done ever. I have had it cut, but never really needed to do much with it. Over the last couple years, I haven’t been as well, so I really went downhill. My hair was so long and it was always in the way, so I figured now was the time. It actually took me a couple weeks to build up the courage to do something. Today, I did something and trusted Aspen with my hair. My stylist was Ameena, and she is fantastic. I didn’t know what I wanted, I just needed a change, and Ameena would give her ideas, and I went with it! She cut some and did nice subtle highlights and and then a follow up trim after. Then it was onto the blow dry. It was a very relaxing afternoon, and I forgot about work and all the stress. She let me have a look after my hair was ready, and well, I am ecstatic. I came home and showed my Hubby, and HE LOVES IT. I am glad I found Aspen on Unilocal and was able to use the 40 for 60 deal. I forgot I bought it, and when they gave me the total, I almost fell over… I couldn’t believe how little I paid for what I got. Even after they reminded me of my voucher, I still feel like I got an excellent deal.
Everyone of the staff were super nice too. I felt very comfortable there, and the customers seemed to all be enjoying themselves too. The hair styles I saw done for the other customers looked amazing. If you can’t get Ameena, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone else there.

Had a great experience here! I was a bit weary based on the location, however to my surprise the hair stylist was knowledgeable and professional!

I recently moved from Chicago where I’d had the same stylist for over 10 years, so I was nervous about finding a salon that I could trust with my monthly hair color. The people at Aspen were friendly and very accommodating. My stylist worked with me and the color was perfect! But what sets Aspen apart from other salons is the friendliness and the reasonable prices. It’s also a full service salon, so I’ll be getting my pedicure’s there as well. Now if I could find a good Sunday breakfast joint besides IHOP west of the turnpike I’ll really be settled in!

It’s so great when your friends & family compliment your hair. Thanks to the team at Aspen I continually get asked «who does your hair?» Whether it’s a haircut, color, waxing, pedicures or their newest service «Botox for Hair» the results are amazing. And they reward their clients with monthly specials & deals… who doesn’t love that!

They total fix a batched coloring job on my hair. It looks great now! Nice people and reasonably price. I will be going back here again!

I’ve been a client of Aspen Hair Salon for a few years now. Renee cuts my hair and always does a fabulous job.
The best part is I can bring photos of my ideal haircut to Renee, and she is honest with me about what will and will not work for my hair/​face shape. We work together to create a style that I like and one that also works for my hair type. I really appreciate that about her.
The salon itself is a very comfortable, friendly and has a relaxed environment. There is usually street parking available either right in front of or within a block of the salon. Prices are very reasonable. If you sign up for their email list, you get special offers and coupons for services.
Overall: Great salon, friendly staff, excellent haircuts and a really good value for your dollar. Highly recommended.

I have hair that is very difficult to style because I have several cowlicks that push my hair is several different directions. Carlie has done a GREAT job especially under the very difficult and challenging circumstances. The staff is very friendly and accomodating and they run ON TIME… NO WAITING… everyone is very nice and the prices are really good too.

Great low key local beauty salon with friendly, experienced staff — it’s a hidden gem just a couple blocks off I-​95, close to downtown Hollywood. The salon is always running some type of special even with already low prices making it a great bargain overall.
My husband and I have been going to Aspen for over a year now. Renee does a great job with my hair — cuts and blowouts– works magic with highlights. Both my husband and I get regular manicures and pedicures, and I’ve also used gels in the past. Krista and Debbie are very experienced nail technicians and it shows. Facials and other beauty services are also offered that we’ll try at some point. Aspen is definitely a comfortable unisex salon, where everyone is made to feel welcome.

I loved the service here. Everyone was nice and sociable. My mom got her hair permed curly and a bit of a trim. A wonderful job. Will be coming back soon!

My boyfriend needed his haircut «fixed» so we stopped in here and he told Renee what he wanted. She did a great job with his cut and he’s got a ton of compliments.
A couple weeks later, I went back to her for a cut which looks great. Quality work and reasonable prices + courteous staff.
My third visit, I took my 8 year old son and the staff treated him like a little prince. He was comfortable and got a good looking kid’s haircut.
