Called Andre’s last minute to send a friend some flowers who is recovering from a surgery and Andre was happy to do it. I called him at 3:30 in the afternoon and he was able to get the flowers to her the same day. Customer service is fantastic! Thank you Andre!

I used Andres for my bridal bouquet only. I brought detailed pictures and a list of flowers to be used. Our consultation for the bouquet was about 45 minutes. My mother speaks Spanish, and reiterated our vision to Andres in Spanish and I, in English. Cut to the night before my wedding, my friend picks up my bouquet and brings it to the hotel– and it’s a totally different bouquet.
Instead of roses and lillies like we agreed upon, Andres used large garish stargazers– everywhere. Instead of delicate ivy there were these totally different light green grass looking foliage. My $ 150 dollar bouquet looked nothing like the picture we discussed with him or the description he had written down. It was also not a language barrier issue since we went over it Spanish and English. My Mother called Andres and explained to him our concern. To his credit, he did drive to the hotel and replace the star gazers with lilies. The only problem was that the lilies were browned around their edges. He also used Ivy although it was a larger ivy then we discussed. I’m not sure what I could’ve done to have kept this from happening. Andres seems to be very creative and talented. Unfortunately, my experience with his was less than the grand one I hoped for.

When it came to looking for a florist to do our wedding, my husband and I did our homework. I chose Andres mainly because he took the time to listen to me. He is about doing quality work. I was specific on what I wanted but left the creative details up
To him. I was so pleased with his work. The ballroom was a sea of red roses, magnificent centerpieces and beautiful candles. He has an eye for creating the romantic classy mood I was after. He communicated with us through out the process and worked perfectly with our coordinator. In fact my coordinator said the only vendor he did not have to worry about was Andres and his team. Very professional and on time. My bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were stunning. I truly can’t say enough about Andres. Since the wedding we have used Andres several times to create and deliver floral arrangements. He hasn’t disappointment me once.

I used this company as my wedding day florist. I finally decided that I did want to go through with writing a bad review.
I got married on July 6, 2013. I hired Andres very early on in my wedding planning. My husband had a business relationship with his employees so I figured he’d do a good job.
Let me start off by making it VERY clear that we paid this man over $ 13,000. This was no cheap wedding. We had a legit, over the top wedding. So be aware of how he treated us even though we had a pretty hefty price tag on our special day. I can’t imagine how much worse it would have been if we had an intimate one.
He promises the world to you. Yes the world. He is very convincing. «oh it’s going to be perfect, oh it’ll be amazing, oh don’t worry about a thing…». If you are the idiot that falls for this (as I was) than too bad because none of it is true.
Sure he has amazing work but what does it matter if it’s not what you will see at your wedding? Granted my venue was not the easiest. I got married at the AT&T building Penthouse in DTLA It’s a raw space. When I say raw, I mean RAW! But he made it seem like «Oh, I’ve done weddings for the owners of IDK what the heck and I’ve done weddings for so and so movie… it’s no problem. Bull shit! This dude is a novice at it’s best!
He was extremely flaky (which should have been our first RED flag). We figured it was because he had problems with his staff and he was adjusting. That alone should have told us that he obviously could’t keep his employees.
So all of the following are things that went wrong on this day.
1) Our centerpieces consisted mostly of white roses and hydrangeas. I told Andres the type of flowers we wanted for the centerpieces and also the types we absolutely did not want and in that list were ROSES and HYDRANGEAS. The centerpieces were pretty but not what we asked for.
2) Incomplete rentals on all accounts. We were short 2 chairs. Unfortunately ALL150 guests who were invited ended up showing up so we couldn’t pull chairs from tables that were empty. What we had to do was get two dirty plastic chairs from the back. Some tables had glass water glasses and salad forks but some did not. Our caterer had ordered all kinds of stuff from him and he only provided about 80% of it.
3) No Virgen De Guadalupe bouquet. My matron of honor had to give her bouquet up for me to offer it to her. So my MOH did not have a bouquet throughout all of our wedding photos.
4) Yellow roses EVERYWHERE! I asked for no roses and they were everywhere.
5) We paid $ 700 for two floral arrangements that were to be first taken to the church and then taken to the reception venue. Well the flowers were never picked up from the church. They left them there. When I asked Andres why he did that he said because the priest asked him to leave them. LIE! Why would the priest ask him to leave the arrangements when there were 2 more weddings after mine. Also, that church has SO SO many flower arrangements everywhere. I got married at the Cathedral in DTLA. He simply forgot and decided not to take responsibility for it.
6) Possibly the worst of them all, he did not put our cake toppers on our cake. He put flowers as our cake topper and yes you guessed it, YELLOW FREAKING ROSES. FYI: My cake toppers were given to me by my mother in law as a little gift 5 YEARS AGO to put on my cake some day. Well that day never came. We also had to cut our cake with a knife we borrowed from our caterer because ANDRES forgot our cake cutting stuff.
SO THROUGH ALL THIS CHAOS GOING ON I STILL ENJOYED MY DAY. MY CATERER AND BARTENDER WERE AMAZING AND THEY MADE SURE I REALLY DIDN’T FIND OUT JUST HOW BAD THINGS WERE TILL THE NEXT DAY. ANDRES TURNED OFF HIS PHONE ALL DAY AND DID NOT HAVE IT BACK ON TILL HE ARRIVED AT MY VENUE AT 12:30AM TO PREPARE FOR THE TAKE DOWN OF EVERYTHING. He may want to blame me for not having a day of coordinator but he told me «YOU CAN HAVE ONE AND IT WOULD HELP ME BUT YOU ABSOLUTELY DON’T HAVE TO HAVE ONE» SO I decided to save myself an additional $ 1,000 and not have one. Big mistake but you live, you learn.

I wish I could give him zero. He was by far the worst vendor I had for my wedding. Andres gives you nothing but attitude. He is expensive. We paid well to get good designs and flowers. Instead, all my flower arrangements were much smaller than what he showed us before the wedding. Although he assured us that my Chuppa would be full of flowers, it was all empty.
I called him several times after the wedding, but he never called me back.
The wedding was at Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles and everything looked beautiful except for the flowers. Avoid him and hire someone else.

Andre did our wedding on 11.10.12 and it was absolutely beautiful. Every guest was so impressed. I had the most beautiful bouquet. I cannot wait to get photos back from the room. The gazebo we got married under was so pretty. He had put crystals hanging from the gazebo with the most beautiful flowers. I will definitely be recommending him to everyone I know!!! You will not be disappointed with him!

Been coming back to Andres for years. I’ve previously been to many other floral shops in L.A., but ever since discovering Andres-Can’t see myself going anywhere else.
Couple years ago I fell in love with a smart, loving, gorgeous human being. Came to Andres with my dilemma (lol). Told him what her favorite color, and flower was. The next day he arranged an unforgettable set of pink orchids, with a touch of swarovski crystals on every individual orchid. It was breath taking…
Long story short. I got the girl of my dreams, and made everlasting memorable impression.
I have Andres to thank for that.

I do not have enough great things to say about Andres.
He was recommended years ago by a friend for my sister’s wedding. He wound up doing my sister’s engagement party, her wedding, and then my engagement party, and my wedding!
He’s incredibly talented & in tune with every aspect of event design. Andres takes a very personal approach to his clients, and offers lots of options. I happened to be a laid-​back bride because I trusted his work — I sort of let him do what he thought would look best.
To be clear, I WAS ON A BUDGET, a tight one, actually. So Andres is sensitive to people who are working on a budget, too.
Andres is truly an artist and his vision for events is incredible. I will work with him in the future for all my events. Thank you, Andres!

Horrible business practice. owns a dingy store on western. can’t take proper notes. doesn’t do email well and forgets things over and over.
will multiple book events without any notice after months of planning and discussion. even after touring the wedding site!
