It is a professional, modern salon that offers coloring, highlighting, perms, conditioning hair care and special occasion styling and up-dos. The salon also offers facial waxing. «We work to satisfy each customer» Says owner, Jill Schermerhorn.
History
Established in 2005.
Jill Schermerhorn acquired Studio D in 2005 from Walter (‘D’) Robbins who started the business back in the 1970s. With over 20 years of experience as a stylist, Jill’s long time goal of owning her salon was reached. With help from ‘D’ she was able to learn the ropes of owning a small business and managing employees. ‘D’ stayed on as an employee for over two years. «Never has there been such a great relationship between new and former owners», says Jill. To this day ‘D’ is still a dear friend and an important member of the Studio D family.
Since that time Jill has built Studio D from three Stylists to over ten to service the salon’s increasing and loyal clientele. Studio D’s stylists are highly talented, all with many years of experience in the industry.
