They do a decent job here and have a convenient location, but the salon is not very clean and the service not very friendly. The atmosphere isn’t relaxing and I’ve even gone with a friend who spotted a mouse running around the pedicure chairs while we got our manicures done. This place is alright, but don’t go out of your way to visit it.

Great place! Clean, reasonably priced, no wait, wide selection of polish, good service– the ladies were friendly and patient and my nails look wonderful! Would recommend this place. I have no complaints!

I took my aunt here last week for a Christmas bonding experience and she swore by this place. She seemed to know the woman who ran the salon, who was nice enough. The manicure was inexpensive at $ 15. The salon itself was very small and weirdly decorated(there was one area near the counter that looked like a garden of rocks with some garden decorations sticking out of it). Her daughter did my nails and was a bit slower than her mother, but did just as well, it seemed. I hadn’t had a manicure in nine years(I knoooowwww), and was pleased with how this one came out. They asked me if I wanted to keep them long or cut them which was nice because I had a few nails that were shorter than the rest and usually salons will just cut them all down to the shortest length, which is what I did not want! So their asking what I wanted was a nice surprise. ALSO they never made a mention of my short nails, a behavior I’d experienced many times which turned me off to manicures. The only qualm I had was that the women who ran the salon told my aunt and I that we were done before our nails were completely dry so a few of mine got fingerprints on them. Otherwise, it was a fine experience.

HORRIBLE. I was a walk-in customer and right away I should have known to turn around and leave. She acted as if I was inconveniencing her. I asked 3 times if this wasn’t a good time and I could come back later but she insisted(rudely) that it was fine. The atmosphere was cluttered and ghetto. It looks like a hoarder lives there. She was rude, rough and rushing. I was in pain. And to top it off she dug her finger nail into my thumb and cut it open! I wanted a painted on french manicure(full set) and she put on the white tips before I could stop her which looked ridiculous. So I ended up having her paint them a brown color which looked awful too. UGH! I only went here because a coworker recommended it. Never Again! I’ll make the trip down the street to Christine’s Nails in Milford thank you very much.

This place is, in a word, AMAZING! I can not say enough to compliment the staff and overall environment! Paris Nail Salon & Spa, and its talented proprietor Kimberly, came to my rescue when I had just suffered a horrific manicure at another establishment.(please see the review I posted… it’s the only other nail salon I have reviewed… so you know where _not_to go!) She was not only able to see me virtually immediately, but able to fix the problem I had with both gentleness but extraordinary precision. I had gotten a really bad acrylic job at the other place, and needed a full removal, which Kimberly achieved with record speed and zero pain; and then I needed a full set done with Solar Gel. Kimberly did such a fantastic job with the gels that the most frequent compliment I have been getting is «I wish I could get my nails to grow like that!». Folks really can not tell that my manicure is anything but naturally perfect nails with perfect white tips and a coat of clear polish! Seriously! Additionally, the gels were $ 10 _less_than any other salon was offering price wise! The décor is simple, and cozy(for a nail spa) and it doesn’t have that ridiculous noise level of most business of this type. They even have a book shelf that is fully stocked for those clients who would rather read a story rather than celebrity gossip and fashion magazines. Color selection at this spa is good, and from my semi-brief perusal of the supply, not a one of the bottles are likely to be old/resuscitated and end up giving you that plucked chicken skin look(bubbles in either the color or the top coat). Additionally, the selection of colors provided for those who want a gel overlay… otherwise known as the nearly indestructible nail-polish…is pretty good. I generally go with a natural look french manicure, but if I wanted to go with a spiffy color over my UVgel base, I’d be in good stead selection wise when visiting these folks. So, here’s the long & short of my review: I am NEVER going ANYWHERE else for my hands, and can not wait to see what can be done with my upcoming pedicure!
