Mediocre gym with crappy customer service. When I went to cancel the rep said to just freeze the account in case I wanted to renew – if I didn’t renew within six months my account would automatically be cancelled and I would not be charged. Six months later they started to charge me again even though I have not stepped foot in their gym for over six months. When I brought this up the manager would not reverse the charge saying that the re must of misinformed me verbally. They can have this last payment but I will NEVER patronize them again. Rigid, crappy customer service must not be rewarded.

They have added new equipment and fixed the old broken stuff its less packed after 11pm — 5 am. They clean on a nightly basis. Also open 24 hours 7 days a week they never closed. The owner is upbeat friendly guy. There’s 2 racket ball courts along with steam room and sauna in locker room. Huge pool. Now the downers there is no WiFi I repeat none unless you the swim team by the pool if there was WiFi I’d give 5 stars. Im glad to see the upgrades but the roof leaks during rain storm in a bad way. Yet I herd golds does also. Great gym

I used to be a member at Rovella’s Gym. It lacks sanitation, the equipment is always scattered around or broken, and it’s a bit pricey. The owner talks about everyone behind their backs. He makes sexist and racial remarks about members after they leave his workout classes. Don’t believe anything he says, he is a pathological liar. He provides preferential treatment to Christians and Paroles by giving either free or discounted memberships. He pays his employees cash under the table to avoid additional expenses. Almost all of his original members have left his gym. If you go to the gym on a rainy day you will notice all the buckets for the leaky roof. Think about all the mold build up in with in the insulation of the ceiling. You might want to read about the hazards of mold before spend large amounts of time there. Steve Rovella, the owner also brags about his automated billing system since it’s a big money maker for all those members who don’t go and forget they are paying monthly. Also look at the contract for the one month advance notice for terminating a membership. I would suggest you take a look at all your options before joining any gym or fitness center. When you go to check out other gyms, talk to some of the members for any input. Ask for both positive and negative aspect of al gyms before rendering a decision.

I like this place it reminds me of the movie pain and gain it’s like a snapshot out of the 80’s the equipment is out dated no pre weighted bars but the layout of this place is pretty cool the leg room is strategically placed in the most isolated area of the gym which is nice and I love that all the workout machines have belts instead of cables what a difference it makes in stability and concentrating on your form.
