DeBrito Chocolate Factory specializes in freshly made gourmet chocolates and the largest Outrageous Caramel Apples you have ever seen! Ever since we started, 22 years ago in Hollister California, we have been making the craziest stuff; Chocolate Jalepenos, Garlic truffles, Bacon apples, Poopy doodles (truffles that look like they were made by your 4-​legged friend), You never know what will be next!

We have been featured on Food Network among many other cable shows, and even provided the 80 gift apples for Elizabeth Taylors 80^th birthday Party. We are unique in the fact that we provide such a vast variety of products that are all hand made! Over 45 different caramel apple varieties and over 50 different Chocolates. All are then available in 3 colors of chocolate. DeBrito’s is a small family owned company that believes in quality not quantity, although they produce a lot for a little place!

History

Established in 1993.

DeBrito’s was started by accident when owner Alene DeBrito made chocolate Christmas gifts for her husband’s tractor business customers… They started ordering extras for the next couple of years until she decided that it would be a fun business venture. Her dad built her a commercial kitchen next to her office at arnold’s shop and it took off. So much that she kicked Arnold out of his shop and expanded hers. He moved his business and has since retired and now helps out here around the factory when a chocolate machine or cooker breaks down.

Now, DeBrito’s is on the web, has a store at the factory and just opened a new location at the Gilroy Premium Outlets!
