History
Established in 2014.
Built in 1774, Timber Post is a historic colonial set on over two grassy acres of rolling farmland in quaint Hollis, NH. Removed from the hustle-and-bustle yet conveniently located just six miles from downtown Nashua, 25 minutes to Boston-Manchester Airport, and less than an hour to Boston, Timber Post is suitable for both business and leisure travel.
Low-key and unpretentious, the property allows you to feel yourself and leave the rest of the world behind. The entrance is via an enclosed garden, with its curved brick walk, water fountains, and a canopy of trees.
Once inside, the home’s exposed hand-hewn pegged timbers, wide plank flooring, and massive center chimney fireplace exude warmth, strength, and rustic comfort. Unlike many antique colonial houses, Timber Post provides guests with ample areas for spreading out, relaxing, or socializing in the spacious great room, dining room, den, screened-in porch, or farmers porch.
Meet the Business Owner
Vivian Silva L.
Business Owner
Vivian and Bob Silva grew up in the Greater Nashua/Lowell area and were married on a Boston Harbor cruise in 1998. We bought a condo in Kessler Farms in North Nashua and moved into a house next to Kessler Farms in 2004.
Vivian holds a bachelors degree in business management from Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to opening Timber Post, she spent over 18 years working as a buyer/planner for local high-tech manufacturing companies including Brooks Automation, Flir Systems, BAE Systems, Lucent Technologies and many smaller companies.
We have two daughters, Chloe and Genevieve, (no they’re not twins, we get asked all the time).
