Great service. They are extremely knowledgeable. Just keep in mind that if you pay off a balance online the website and the office are not always on the same page so the office might not know you’ve paid off the balance for your visit. Keep records of payment, but the office is very nice with trying to fix that mistake. Also, DO NOT come on a Saturday, the wait will be about 1hour. I usually come during the weekday and the visit is 1,2,3.

I will begin by saying it somewhat pains me to write a crappy review on this doc…
Years ago this would be a 5 STAR review… Today: 1.5 STARS at best.
I’ve been a patient of Dr Martin for many years… I was very happy with this doc until recent years. I even recommended her to several co-​workers along the way. There’ve been changes that have occured that have taken away from the very good experiences I’ve had in the past. I personally can say for the most part, my visits with Dr Martin have been very thorough & she’s always been professional & attempted to make the whole «female» visit as painless as possible. With that being said, maybe it’s due to the changes in the way insurance has changed (not for the best) that the patients now have to feel the pinch! That’s just one part of it…
The office:
UGLY & uninviting! The waiting room is painted like a puke green as another reviewer stated below. The carpeting is some tacky mishmash of colors. The patient rooms are also not so great! I always think to myself when I walk in for my annual checkup «what the hell was the doctor thinking»?? My advice: the office is long overdue for an update to something way less tacky & easier on the eyes… this is a minor problem though…
What to expect:
Up until recent years, patients were able to use the restroom in the back. Not anymore… You now must take the pee pee cup outside the office & down the corridor to a community bathroom with no privacy & nowhere to put your belongings or pee cup. It’s a friggin mess & just makes the already uncomfortable experience even less comfortable. Also, if you want to «freshen up» before seeing the doc, well… good luck with that! The public restroom is drab & not exactly overflowing with cleanliness. It’s a real drag…
Also, there are no tissues/​paper towels in the exam room (to the left) for after the check-​up, if you know what I mean, so you may wanna carry some on you for cleaning up before dressing. And lastly, be prepared to wait! I’ve waited anywhere from 1 – 2 hours to get outta there! I’ve never done pap-​in-​a-​snap so that may be quicker…
Scheduling a visit:
Be very careful. Dr Martin is only there certain days. I have seen the nurse practioner in the past but after my last experience, never again! This will probably be the reason I will now switch docs. I scheduled my «annual» exam which is completely covered by my insurance. I expect that exam to be thorough! Due to a knee problem & discomfort from that issue, I wasn’t really thinking until after the fact of some things the NP did NOT do during my visit. And as a patient, that is NOT my job! I called the next day to point it out & re-​schedule with the doc to COMPLETE the exam. I actually had to ask the NP if she was going to do a breast exam (as the doc ALWAYS does)! She did do it after I mentioned it but i don’t think she intended to in the first place. Also, when I called I specifically asked about not being charged since the exam was incomplete. I was put on hold while the receptionist explained to the doc what happened & I was told there would be NO CHARGE for the visit (since her girl screwed up and did NOT complete the exam)! Went in & saw the doc — mind you, I had to waste another eve after work to go back there — just to find out about a week later the lying doc billed my insurance for the visit! Wait… it gets better! I called the office when i saw the $ 215 charge & explained I only went in for a follow up because YOUR NP screwed up in the first place & I was assured (as per the doc) the visit was «no charge». This girl tells me «anytime you walk in the room with Dr Martin you get billed for her time». I was thinking — Bitch, the only reason I had to walk in the room with Dr Martin was because her incompetent NP fucked up & didn’t give me a complete exam! I didn’t quite put it that way but I was very annoyed! I then asked about getting copies of my records. I got a whole run around with that too. She did tell me I can sign a release & they can transfer them to another doc but I was asking for my own records. She told me I can go in the office & ask them to make copies for .75 cents per page. Wtf? I also asked about the docs summary on my visit & then I was asked if I meant the docs notes? I said «I don’t know but I’ve gotten doc reports from other specialists recently either by e-​mail or regular mail. I was given every reason why that couldn’t be done. The receptionist told me the doc doesn’t give that info to the patient… uh ha…
There was a time Dr Martin would mail pap results to save patients a visit. Somewhere along the way, she told me that she could no longer do that due to the insurance & that I would have to schedule (and pay) for a follow-​up exam to get results. Ain’t that a load of crap!
Summary:
Think twice if ya do decide to go here… Unfortunately, I’m starting to feel the doc is becoming more about the money & less about the patient :(

Oh Yes The Front Desk People are The Worse definitely the Worse, I have been going there for over 4 Years and I particularly like Dr Martin, I am not sure what those other reviews are about because I myself never encountered any problems with Dr Martin. She is very Professional, Patient and also very caring, Dr Martin makes you feel at home and also answers all your questions. Once again the only Drawback is indeed the Front Desk Staff They definitely need HELP, and need to learn how to handle Customers.

This place is without a doubt the WORST OBGYN on the planet. The wait time is always an hour or more, regardless how many people are in the waiting area. There is a clear disconnect between the Dr and her patients. I have seen her at least 5 times and she constantly had that «Nice to Meet you» look on her face. We were told we were in line for a C-​section for our delivery because our child was getting really big. Further, the next week not the case, baby normal weight and now natural. Then she thinks we have had a child before! Clearly confusing us with another person (Wasn’t first time either) She then puts down her own staff in front of us and completely disrespects our chiropractor claiming he is «Not a real doctor» & sticking the needle for the epidural is fine regardless of her past history with scoliosis. Oh, & our first sit down with her during the sonogram she goes ok: «It is a boy, I can see his balls!!!» Seriously, cannot make it up! God forbid if it was a girl, «Oh I can see her C**t» I would give this place a zero if I could. Lastly, if you go during the winter wear a bathing suit or your underwear because they cannot control their heat and it is always steaming in there.

Incompetent and unprofessional. Neglected to order necessary lab work and blamed ME for it saying the she «can’t keep track of all [her] patients» (excuse me, isn’t that your job?) and that I was responsible for my own care. If she doesn’t take responsibility for my and my baby’s health, then what the hell am I paying her for? She’s personable so I can see why people might choose to keep her on for their annual pap smear, but I would not trust her for a healthy pregnancy or childbirth. She even said she was going to go fetch her doppler to listen to baby’s heartbeat… and never returned! What a quack.
Also, the office is really ghetto (walls are puke green, JUST got e-​records and their pee cups don’t have lids).
Wait time varies from 30 to 90 minutes.
FInally, she won’t release my records until I pay for the services rendered thus far (she hasn’t even sent me the bill yet so I can’t see a new doctor). What a shady woman.

I’m a woman of a certain age so my visits are once per year and she makes me feel as though we speak weekly. She is professional, — yet friendly, clean, patient and caring.
She is also my two daughters GYN.
