History
Established in 1979.
Taylor & Young is a family owned and operated business started in the late ‘70s by Wayne Young, who continues today as its owner/operator. In the time since its founding, Wayne has included his son, Brett, as a partner. The company was built on Wayne’s detail oriented perfectionist persona, which translates to exacting standards and truly remarkable window and door installations. This is the reason Taylor & Young has been a primarily word-of-mouth referral based business for most of its history. As it has grown from its humble beginnings and transformed into The Window Nerd, the company continues to provide expertise in windows and doors with the personal touch of a family business.

The first face you’re likely to see from The Window Nerd by Taylor & Young belongs to Greg. He handles most of our sales and marketing, and has 12 years of experience in the window and door industry. He epitomizes our fact based, low key, no pressure sales approach that provides you with as much information as you want and need, but no more. He recently celebrated his twelfth anniversary and is a father to four (2 boys, a girl, and ?). In his spare time he enjoys basketball, football, and cookies.
