Looked up this place as somewhere to go and window shop while in Holland. Cute stuff but the picture of all the gurgle pots had me fooled I thought it would be more home décor than the spices that take up much of the store hence«The Seasoned Home» hey sometimes it takes me a little while to catch on.

Situated along the main stretch of shops in Holland, The Seasoned Home offers a variety of cooking supplies, tools and spices. Their spice wall contains everything from specialty salts, cumin, oregano, etc… to their own proprietary blends. It probably took me 10 minutes just to read through all the different options before selecting one: a packet of sweet orange habanero seasoning. Also offered are a selection of loose leaf teas, cutting boards, cooking salt blocks and other specialty items. Worth a browse if you’re in the area. Just to note, they do have a $ 10 credit card minimum.

Unique gift ideas for the home. Incredibly friendly & helpful staff. Also loose teas, spices etc. would definitely shop here again when in the area.

A must see in Downtown Holland! Locals love it! Visitors always ask to come back! The most exciting part of The Seasoned Home is that they sell Gurgle Pots — In every color, and will even ship them for you. If you haven’t poured water from a Gurgle Pot, your missing out! Head to the Seasoned Home and try one, now! You really engage all your senses in this store: smell, sight, touch, taste, and hearing. The smell when you walk in is spectacular. They usually have yummy samples of their dips and sauces to taste. The Gurgle Pots are a visual pleasure, and you will love being able to touch them and hear the ‘gurgle” when you pour from a Gurgle Pot. You can buy tea and spices in bulk, check out lots of unique kitchen gadgets and buy special items to spice up your dinner. It is so fun to look at the wall of spices in the glass containers and think of new ideas. I’m sure you will be inspired to try something new. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Ask questions, you won’t be disappointed!

One of my favorite stores in Downtown Holland. They have a great variety of spices, as well as soups, teas, and some cookwares. Their prices are fairly reasonable as well. The one downside is I have purchased more spice packets than I know what to do with!

I don’t cook, BUT the staff here was really helpful and friendly! I asked her for suggestions as to which of all the spices she would suggest I get to cook some easy dinners. She pointed out some of the favorites as well as the ones that she liked. The store had everything you needed to cook dinners and such. They even had a special section of gourmet products that looked really enticing. She also had a huge selection of spices and loose leaf teas! I would try everything if I had the funds to do so. They have cool pieces of plates/pottery type items to hold your fruits and such. Fun store with many possibilities in your kitchen! Definitely check it out if you’re wanting to cook something yummy!

Oh I could spend hours here. I love the smell of all the different spices and teas that can be purchased here. You can even buy the containers to make your own spice rack. You can find other sauces and mixes in jars that are sold as well. I love the home décor because you can find such unique items. I saw cute aprons, plates, and napkins. The prices are competitive but if you have an appreciation for rich items, you’ll certainly want to splurge here. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and can probably give some great recommendations as well.
