Su Casa

This is the first time we had been to Su Casa in Holland. There were seven in our party. The eating area is in the back, behind a market, there are no windows and it felt a bit dreary. We got our drinks and chips and homemade salsa quickly, but then we waited for thirty minutes for our food. The pork tamales got a thumbs up, as did the veggie burrito. The rice and beans and the rest of our meals were pretty average. The general consensus was that we would not return.

I have been here a few times since they moved to Holland. I really enjoy the enchiladas Verde and El pastor tacos. The viniger carrots are real special.

Great mexican food here. I’ve had tacos, burritos (are big), enchiladas, sopes, breakfast (eggs w chorizo) and more. My friends lalso ike the flautas and some of the seafood dishes. Service is always good, and the chips and salsas are made on site,
Prices are reasonable too. This is a new location for them, and the food seems «better than ever».

Our last night in the area decided to grab something quick before a repeat visit to Cpt. Sundae. The Mexican food in the states doesnt compare to what we get in Toronto. This is a cute little restaurant located inside a Mexican grocer. The grocery mart looked great had some jerky that looked amazing… wish I could’ve tried it. We ordered the dinner special a wet steak burrito for takeout. The service was excellent and friendly. Our meal was ready very quickly maybe 10 minutes. The meal included 3 salsas, rice and salad. The burrito was packed full of steak. A great value! The salsas were the stars. They really took the burrito up a notch. We just wished the steak was seasoned a bit more. It was quality meat just needed seasoning. This was more than enough food for the two of us. Would love to try more things on the menu. I suspect there are some more authentic dishes that would rock. Give this place a try.
