Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Aged Balsamic Tasting Room

History

Established in 2008.

Jim Milligan is the co-founder and owner of Fustini’s Oils & Vinegars. Fustini’s offers retail customers a wide variety of extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars, sourced from around the world, in five Michigan locations (Traverse City, Petoskey, Holland, Ann Arbor and Mackinaw City), and soon to open in Wailea, Maui.

The opportunity to get into the gourmet food business opened up in late 2007. Jim retired from his corporate career at 3M, and he and co-founder Lane, empty nested, sold their home in MN and embarked on a journey to fulfill a dream they had harbored for nearly twenty years; to live in Traverse City and pursue the olive oil and vinegar tasting room concept that Jim had seen so much of in Europe during his corporate travels. The first store opened May 2008, followed by Petoskey in 2009 with the Holland and Ann Arbor stores opening in 2010. In May 2013 the Mackinaw City store was added to the Fustini family of stores.
