Midwest Conservatory of Music

Both of our kids have made drastic improvements in their instruments since we started at the school 5 years ago, and we did try a few other schools that didn’t work out as well. All the teachers we have had contact with at Midwest Conservatory have been true professionals, nothing short of amazing. They want each child to do their personal best. One of our children is also part of the Midwest Conservatory orchestra, which is comprised of students and professional musicians, a rarity. While some of the teachers may be from different countries, most went to American colleges, and all teachers have Master’s degrees. So I’m not sure why another reviewer said that they had language issues. We have never had a language problem with our teachers, and we only speak English. This school is not run like a business, but rather like a community of student musicians led by wonderfully supportive master-​level teachers. We are very happy and will be keeping our kids here for a long time.

I took my young son for an introductory piano class. The teacher he was assigned to was very impatient. I will not return to this school. Also, if you do not speak an Asian language then you will have a language issue.
