Business Owner

Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Schaumburg where he attended Schaumburg High School. During that time, you may have seen him performing in the show on horseback at Medieval Times. He graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin studying biology and chemistry. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Johnson was honored with the «International College of Dentists Award» in recognition of a student who demonstrated the most dedication and commitment to dentistry.

Dr. Johnson has been practicing in the Chicago suburbs for over ten years, and became the owner of Forest Edge Dental in 2011. He continues his commitment to dentistry by regularly attending courses to stay current with the latest advances in the field. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.

I only had a cleaning and checkup here. I finally met the dentist, Dr. Johnson. I must have waited in the chair over 20 minutes after the cleaning was done, TRAPPED in front of a droning TV. I had a later offline conversation with the dentist and of course that is not supposed to happen. Stuff happens but I didn’t like it.
They seem like nice enough people but my experience was that the dental hygienist was incorrect in diagnosing the depth of my gum pockets (aggressive braces as a teenager) and trying to sell deep gum cleaning. My sister is a dental hygienist and I know when somebody is trying to mine my mouth. I would be very careful in any dental office that is suddenly trying to suggest these deep gum cleanings, they are expensive, PAINFUL and controversial.
Get a second opinion from somebody you can trust. Ditto for some of the cosmetic procedures. Good luck.

Dr. Johnson is great, as well, and myself & my husband have never had any issues with his work or manner. I especially adore my hygienist, Deb.»

Dr. Johnson has completed the addition of the office-​space next door & all the renovations. Wowsers! This office is GORGEOUS! I didn’t care about the tiny outdated office before because this staff is TOP NOTCH, but now the office is state-​of-​the-​art in technology & interior design. Fantastic!

After 10yrs without seeing a dentist the day finally came that I cracked a tooth. Dr. Johnson fit me in a already busy schedule and preformed a PAINLESS root canal.
He and his staff (Jan, Julie and Deb) were all fun and easy to talk to, so fun in fact I looked forward to going back for my cleaning! It is refreshing to see a practice that has such good customer service and genuinely cares about its patience. Thanks Forest Edge.

The Nicest, gentlest, most laid back dental office I’ve ever been to. They’re in the middle if remodeling and now have tv in each room that you can surf while getting your teeth cleaned. I highly recommend.

I have been a long time client of this dental practice with Dr. Kite. I have now had 2 crowns done by Dr. Johnson. He is very caring and very thorough. My crowns feel terrific. My baseline is «feel no pain». Dr. Johnson made sure I was pain free throughout both procedures. The office staff is very friendly and accomodating for appointments. My usual hygenist is Debbie. We have great fun laughing through my cleanings. I look forward to many more years with this dental practice. Thank you Drs. Kite and Johnson and the staff of Forest Edge.
