Meet the Manager

Mike G.

Manager

Mike is our service manager/​lead service tech offering 20 years of experience to our customers. He started his career in the United States Air Force as an mechanic and personnel trainer on E3B/​C aircraft (AWACS) both on active duty and later in the reserves. He began his HVAC career in 1995 in Oklahoma City, Ok. After ending his 15 year service with the Air Force as a member of the 513^th ACG reserve unit, he and his family moved to the western suburbs of Chicago in 2005. In addition to his position here at Compass Heating and Air, Mike also enjoys sharing his knowledge and expertise with students as an adjunct intructor with Harper College in the HVAC department.

Spending time with family is the reward we all strive for in our career and Mike is no different. He, his wife, and four children enjoy time together riding bikes on trails in the many forest preserves Chicagoland has to offer, fishing, and participating/​attending sports activities and events.
