History
Established in 1998.
Built around racing, which was a family passion for many years, both racing and owning race cars. We wanted to honor the history of racing in this region which has since
disappeared, and many of the drivers of the area have passed on. We also wanted a friendly, comfortable place where people could enjoy a good drink and some good food while kicking back, relaxing and, which is often the case running into friends you didn’t know would be here. Being from the south, Buck wanted to have a little southern hospitality that he remembered brought to this area.
Meet the Business Owner
Buck and Diane R.
Business Owner
Buck is from Tennessee, Diane is from Wisconsin. They didn’t exactly meet in the middle but have lived in the Chicago area for more years then they care to remember. They had a demolition company for 30 years, and purchased a local small bar for something to do when they retire. The restaurant has grown which was totally unexpected but thanks to some great employees throughout the years (including our initial group of girls-thank you) and to our patrons throughout the years we are blessed to still be in business. Our current pit crew is amazing and continue the to provide the southern hospitality that we want you to enjoy
