Wish I could give ten stars! I just got four expensive dresses hemmed. I just needed a couple inches off the bottom of all four, I was nervous about getting them hemmed but I went in and the owners were so patient and made sure I was happy with the cut. Got the dresses back today and they are amazing, perfect and so well done. I am very pleased. These guys know tailoring! Recommend going here for hemming.

This place is great. They always take care of business promptly. Very nice people. Always worth hanging around and talking to the Kims for a few minutes. Go there.

Not sure why they have such a low rating… It makes absolutely no sense. Mr and Mrs Kim have been wonderful since day one. They always remember my name and take impeccable care of my clothing. I send plenty of high quality dress shirts here weekly, always sent back in crisp and perfectly clean condition. I also recently sent a couple suits to be cleaned and pressed. All for a very reasonable price. I felt compelled to write this as I stopped by frantically today with 12 dress shirts to drop off. I am leaving for a trip on Wednesday and Mrs. Kim was nice enough to get my shirts back the same day! Not one complaint and they will have my business as long as I live in Hoboken.

Please do not use this place! I moved right near this dry cleaner and was thrilled to have one so close so I gave it a shot. The first time I used them however, they misplaced one of my shirts and when I called to complain they insisted that I never brought it and I had to argue with them for 20 minutes! After calling back twice they finally agreed to search for it and then FOUND it! The fact that I had to fight with them just to look for it is terrible. I then decided to give them benefit of the doubt that maybe it was a one time thing and tried them again. This time they returned a dress I had brought with a stain still on it and it smelling exactly the same as when I brought it in. This leads me to believe that they did not even clean the garment! I was charged for an item that they never cleaned! I will never use this dry cleaner again!

I was shocked when I saw negative reviews of this place on here. This used to be my main drycleaner for 4 years when I lived in that part of town. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Kim, are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They always greet my wife and I by our first names, and they have always been very accomodating whenever we needed something back quickly. They even used to let us get packages delivered to their shop since we weren’t able to receive packages at the building we were living in at the time. Their prices are on par with everywhere else in Hoboken. There was a time when Mr. Kim was sick in the hospital so they had other people filling in temporarily — I can’t help but wonder if that was the cause of some of the bad experiences people posted here. Even though I now live in another section of town, I still go there sometimes to give them my business. They still remember my name.

Overpriced and deceitful. I picked up my dry cleaning one day, and I handed him two receipts that totaled $ 26. He gets my clothes, throws the receipts in the trash, prints two new receipts, and says, «$ 31.» I calmly asked why the price was $ 5 more than stated on the receipts I handed him. He suddenly didn’t understand English. I asked him to pull the receipts out of the garbage to prove that they showed $ 26, but he just kept shaking his head and pointing to the new receipts that said $ 31. Needless to say, I won’t be providing him with any more business.

UPDATED6÷21÷10 This place went from reliable to shit overnight. Three years, no problems. Then the last 2 times I found stained shirts that I had to argue to get reprocessed. This last time, I didn’t even bother, and actually planned to ask if they were using a different service. I go to pick up my 2-week batch of 8 shirts, and this time one of my favorite shirts was ripped. Immediately defensive and accusatory, the guy tries to tell me that it’s from my elbow rubbing on a desk. Lets be serious; I’m no genius, but something about that jsut doesn’t sound faesible. When I pointed out I’ve been coming to him for 3 years and never tried to claim anything in the past, he tells me 3 years, 10 years, there’s a lot of kids in Hoboken. He doesn’t care about my business. Maybe business is bad, maybe it’s martial problems, whatever it is, you WILLNOT talk to me like that and keep my business, and that goes for whether you’ve had it for 3 years or 10 years. You don’t care about my business? This review means I’m done giving a shit about his. By the way, the following is my review from 3/24, just to show how far they’ve come and that I’m not a biased reviewer, but like I said, you don’t talk to long time customers that way: Timely, cheap, reliable, friendly. Don’t know what else you could want, but I’ve been going here for about 3 years and never had a problem with shirts, pants, jackets, sweaters, and even some embroidery on a Yankee jersey, so I figured I owe them a nice review eventually!
