Awful support staff only 2 stores because doctors are decent. When you come in for a physical and have an appointment you get seen by the doctor but then have to go back in the waiting room and wait in «line» for blood work.

Let me start by saying we have been to other Riverside offices and from what we see they set the example in professionalism, patient care and overall kindness and it is a shame they have to share the name with this office.
The most unprofessional office in Hoboken. They don’t understand the concept of an appointment, both times with our child they office is running late. Our little one is a toddler so when you are four or five appointments behind a courtesy call would be nice. Then they proceeded to loose our paper work for the surgery and we had to make a new appointment to come in an complete the work, and they had the audacity to call the night before and tell us to make sure we are on time for our 8 am appointment because they wanted to close the office on time, it was a friday. Then when my wife brings in our child for the follow up and after they tell her she is running late, she naturally inquires how long since our child is young and young children tend not to be able to sit for over an hour. While in the back the doctor has the balls to tell my wife she is being unprofessional with her team, no Dr you are being unprofessional the professional approach would have been to ask about the concerns my wife was having wit h the office and not tell us to go elsewhere because we complained about excessive wait times and provided feedback on your site. If you don’t want feedback take it off your site.

Scamming scum.
This firm is the answer to the questions, What is wrong with healthcare? Why is healthcare so expensive?
I went to this firm in March 2015, for blood work (second opinion). The front desk said they accept my insurance, and shouldn’t have a problem. Despite my blood-​work request the doctor gave me a physical (mostly rubbing my belly and asking me to read letters) because it’s «Their policy» for new patients, fine, they did my blood work like I asked anyway.
Got my bill back, over $ 400 my insurance didn’t cover it, because they classified it «preventative care», when really i just wanted them to do a lab «office visit». I called my insurance and they said no problem have them correct the mistake, and we can go ahead and process it. As much as I hate having to do leg work for insurance I already paid for, I went ahead and called Riverside Medical group (over 5 times) each time a different person who wasn’t willing to correct the error insisted I was trying to commit insurance fraud and kept sending me the bill.
So why can’t they correct the mistake?
Why force someone to pay $ 400 for a belly rub they didn’t ask for, especially when correctly categorizing it would get them paid anyway?
Only a few reasons I could come up with. (just my thoughts)
— Being out-​of-​network but still having a 3^rd party connection to my insurance would mean that less of the revenue of my visit would go to the firm.
— Preventative care doesn’t hold the same incentives and requirements from the government thus allowing prices to be artificially higher.
— Admitting a mistake in patient intake harms the doctor or staff within the inner bureaucracy, and may have implications outside the health-​system.
All I can say is this place is crooked, I’ve went to 2 other doctors and a specialist for literally the same test, everyone correctly categorized my visits, and wasn’t a pain in the ass about it. Now I have to decide between paying exorbitant amounts of money for Dr. Zaki’s belly rub or having an unpaid collections bill.
Also staff rudely hung up twice after they realized I had called again after consulting my insurance. This was the billing department! You can’t even pick up the phone to get paid?
Garbage place, I don’t care if you think its a good option cause it’s a big place in Hoboken, cross the river or go the Bergen county cause avoiding this extortion racket will save you a lot of time and money.

I went to this office in September and had the worst experience. I’ve suffered a few kidney infections in the last few years and know what they feel like. I came here to get the prescription I needed to get better. The doctor insisted on giving me a strept test despite having no pain in my throat. Then he refused to refill my birth control prescription because as he «wouldn’t know anything about that.» Are you kidding me? The appointment cost me $ 300, $ 120 of which was the strep test I tried to decline. Then today, 7 months later, I received another bill for almost $ 100 from Quest Diagnostics for that same stupid test. Horrible doctor, horrible ethics, just a total nightmare. Stay away!

I’ve been recommending Riverside Medical Group for years because of the service and quality of care. They are open late and on weekends, and even take walk-​ins. (This group is not to be confused with the OB-​Gyn group upstairs.)
Dr. Brhambhatt is smart, friendly, and a great listener. He takes his time with your visit, and you always feel seen and heard. He does not pretend to know everything, and will refer you to a specialist if necessary. He genuinely cares about your well-​being.
Prescriptions are sent automatically to the pharmacy, and the staff will follow up relentlessly with your insurance company or the pharmacy if there’s ever a problem.
Even though you often have to wait a long time to be seen by the doctor (because of walk-​ins), the receptionists and nurses are very friendly, and your appointment is always worth the wait.
They always have a doctor on call, so if you have a problem at an odd hour, the answering service will have a doctor call you back right away.

Dr. Teeku and Dr Salas are great. The handle the care of both of my kids. The women at the front desk are also amazing. They always find a way to squeeze us in when my kids are sick.
I really feel like we are getting great care here.

I have a long term medical condition so having a good supportive doctor is exceptionally important for me. Dr Brahmbhatt is a great, kind doctor and is always happy to take time to listen to my concerns during a consultation. The nurses are also brilliant. Really friendly and go above an beyond to make my life easier whether it be to administer shots, refer me to a specialist or write up medical notes for me. Its having the support of medical professionals such as these which makes a dramatic impact on the lives of people who have to be at the doctors office a lot so much easier.

I absolutely love this office. I have been here myself many time i usually don’t mind seeing any of the doctors that are free, but my favorite is dr Brahmbatt. He is so sweet and kind treats his patients with a lot of respect, always trying to help them the best way he can. The front staff is great as well Stephanie always helps me out with anything i need as well as the office manager kristine. I have taken my family here as well and love the care that Dr Brahmbatt has given them, and we will continue our care here with the RMG. Thank you so much for taking care of me and my family.

Save yourself the troubles and go to another place. This place is absolutely terrible. The doctors are a little above average, but nothing amazing.
This place overbooks like crazy, and making appointment is useless. So far this is about our 7^th visit. 4 out of the 7 times, they made us wait over 1 hour and 30 minutes. What is the point of making appointment if you cannot keep them? People take time off from work, hence every minute is valuable. These people treat your valuable time like dirt and give 0 consideration. If you cannot honor your appointments, then dont book them so tight. Staff obvious cannot do simple math, and if they can, reasons to take your business somewhere else.
Additionally, people who visit this place are all pregnant women. So considerate of them to have pregnant women wait so long.
This is the worst place ever! Take your business somewhere else!

I must say, coming to this medical facility is a blessing. I would like to give the credits to Dr. Brahmbhatt, manager and medical staff for their exceptional customer service. I drive from central NJ just to come here and the medical staff do care about patient care. PT Bryan Davila

This medical facility is the shittiesttttt, guys don’t go here please. I went here for annual examination and the dr. Raju went ahead and did some hear testing without letting me know what kind of test this is. And when I get my bill I see they charge me extra money for annual examiniation for the ear tests they did without consulting me. I have been following up with them since past 1.5 yrs and no response. Shit mgmt. keeps giving me tkts numbers and never follows up. This is the big fraud rundown place and should be kicked out of Hoboken. Don’t go here guysss unless you want to be cheated, And another thing there are no constant drs here by the time I was working on my case there are no traits of this dr in US.

As my previous review was removed for no reason I will leave another one. The front desk needs some work. Poor customer relations. Doctors are good though. They do make it difficult to get a prescription renewal. Beware.

This is a shame. It’s a great location, in-​house quest, good doctor and I’m giving 1 star 100% because of the staff at the front desk. I never thought a front desk would be the reason my family left a doctor we liked, but that’s because I hadn’t yet encountered the staff at this office. I’ve never had to deal with such rude people, it’s so unnecessary. Furthermore they do not keep appointments, you may make one but that doesn’t mean they have it on their books when you get there. Dealing with the front desk is beyond frustrating and it really should just be simple and pleasant. I don’t understand why they are so difficult and unorganized and RUDE. If the front desk changed, I’d be back but they are ALL awful, it’s nuts.

I am confused by the bad reviews. I have had a wonderful experience from start to present so far. Every time I call the desk they are helpful, friendly and prompt. I only waited 15 – 20 minutes for my appointment when I got there. They gave me helpful resources.

I was skeptical about comming here based on the reviews, but when I got sick and had no pc physician I decided to make an appointment. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really had no wait, maybe it was the time of day I went. My visit was with Dr. Brahmbratt. He listened to my concerns and prescribed me the correct medicine. Thanks to him I’m still kickin it! I have been back twice for a general checkup/​bloodwork and those visits were also great, no complaints.

THE WORST PLACE EVER! DO NOT EVEN TRY…
I am never going to this place again. This place does not even know what the hell service even look like. Been there thrice.
first time, i visited a doctor here and got medications for my wife. Got to know frm the pharmacy that medicines were not covered by insurance, so had to request a pre-​authorzation from doctor. Called up multiple times to no avail.
next time decided to request directly the doctor on my visit for the pre authorization. I kept calling the pharmacy and this group for 3 days just to get the damn thing requested. and guess what, nothing is moving still.
The Worst part is we got a blood test done 6 days back and they did not get back to us telling if the report is ready. Only when i called to enquire, i was casually told everything is fine.

Be sure to check insurance coverage — despite the fact that they are listed as IN NETWORK with my insurance company and both my husband and my (soon to be born) child would have liked to have been seen at this practice, when I called to get more information, they informed me that my insurance is not actually accepted by their practice. The woman on the phone was quite rude and dismissive and was not an insurance specialist — only quoting from their website — and on the whole an entirely unpleasant experience. Going elsewhere for our medical needs for sure.

Terrible.
I provided my correct insurance details and everything appeared fine when i visited. 1 year later and about 10 different calls from debt collectors and my insurance going back and forth and it’s still not sorted out.
I called my insurance the first time to find out what was going on and find out they never processed it in the first place!
Steer clear.

Do not waste your money, with this sorry excuse of a doctor office! I was seen by one of their doctors for 2mins. In the 2mins he told me to change my medication, which I did to something he recommended. He told me that if I start getting sick to call him so I could find a better medication! I called him when I got sick from this medication that he prescribed and guess what he never returned my call. He is very lazy. The staff in the office are unpleasant, I booked an appointment through ZOCDOC and they called and confirmed it. I get there I don’t have an appointment with doctor instead a nurse practitioner. The staff in the front made such a big deal, I had to go to there other office. When I get to this other office they where making a big deal telling next time to call them for appointment, they were making a big deal but the office was empty.

No one has time to be sick, luckily if you have to come here they won’t make it any worse. The highlights:
–extended hours every day, even weekends, in case you have to go after normal work hours (I’ve always been able to get an appointment with a reasonable wait time)
–on-​site lab weekdays during the day. Anyone who’s been to an independent lab can tell you how much of a pain it is to wait there
–they send your rx directly to your pharmacy, saving you the wait time after you drop off the paper rx
–peds across the hall, if that interests you
–the nurses, nurse practitioners, and doctors are just plain nice and take the time to listen
I will be a sick (but happy) return customer.
