My friends 16 year old daughter came home last Saturday night with drink coupons that were given to her and was aloud into this club at 10:30 without ID because she has to use the bathroom. Clearly the bouncers don’t card young underage women and this club should be shut down.

IFYOULOVEFIGHTCLUBCOMEONDOWN. Most of the staff is rude. They charge a cover fee when it is not a holiday who do you think you are«THEROXBURRY». Good amount of over crowding combined with all three floors. Drinks are pricey. This place needs to reorganize how they handle the public. A group of 7 of us went here on a Friday night and it was absolutely terrible. They tried to tell us we had to get a two bottle minimum because of the number of people in our party, but my friend knew the promoter so we talked them down to one. They charged over $ 300 for the bottle of Grey Goose, which isn’t extraordinary in comparison to what other clubs would charge, but they stuck us next to the bathroom, where we were cordoned off from just about everyone. At least this left us with plenty of room to dance, but we could barely even hear the music. The sad part is there were two giant speakers next to us that clearly weren’t even turned on. I guess they’re just for décor.

Currently at Reign. Waiting for coat check while the employees just strolled in. So far not a good vibe. Awful staff.

Have attempted to make reservations for my wife’s birthday party without a returned phone call. I guess they’re too good to accept business. Went with another venue.

Definitely not recommended. The floors are constantly wet, prepare to fall on your face.

They’re not exactly at the top of the kingdom, so «Reign» mayyyyy not be the most fitting title. But whatevz. I came here for a bredren’s birthday celebration, and it was pretty lovely, I must say. Pros: –Very spaceous. More than one level. And a designated dance floor, so people still have standing/walking room on the sides. –Sufficient & capable security. –Lovely décor & layout. –Polite staff. –There are a bunch of pretty tings that frequent this place. :-) Cons: –Those floors were stickier than a blanket on a «casting» couch. You could have caught every mouse in Hoboken if you used those floors as traps. No one was routinely mopping or cleaning spills throughout the night. –Drink prices could stand to be a buck or two lower, considering that they’re pricing their stuff like the REST of Hoboken. Either way, they have a nice set-up… And with some small-but-significant improvements, they could totally come up and have better ratings.

Beautiful décor and strobe lights, but expensive(though delicious and kind of sweet) drinks and okay music when I went last summer. Everyone was charged cover when we went, which was around $ 10.

just a little update on reign honestly the people who run this place are scumbags and racist went here a few months back and they kicked me out, for no reason think it had something to do with me either being black, or the bartender noticed i had cash on me and did not tip her then once I confronted the bouncer about not being able to get service he walked me to the door and pushed me now let me mind you i’m a small 156lbs to be exact not loud and was not loud that night had not even been drinking and the guy put his hands on me wtf time before that something weird happened with my credit card and I got a call from my bank saying looked like fraud on my account hmm let me think my card kept getting declined at this place that never happens anywhere this place is a shit hole I am from Raleigh North Carolina and go out to clubs all the time none of this none sense ever happens nobody would ever think in 2015 this would have happened, but if you go to reign beware that they are not friendly towards blacks went last night and they had some Mexican worker follow me around the club it was rather funny you could obviously tell the guy worked there lol he was wearing all black short and trying to fit in with the crowd nice try reign management same bouncer was standing right beside him after noticing their tactics I offered them both a shot hell I figured why not be nice to do the guys after all they are just doing what their scumbag of a boss, or owner told them to do give the minorities a bad name and a hard time reign is notorious for credit card fraud and other racist tactics from what I have read on other reviews this place sucks avoid it at all costs not worth spending a night in the slammer due to ignorant people who work and run this place.

Basic nightclub. If you have VIP and table service it’s somewhat better. Music is basic depending on the night I went on a Friday night and it just so happened to be a djais(jersey shore) party. Bartenders and hostesses were all friendly. I can’t comment on the cocktails bc I only drink jack daniels neat, however, my girlfriend was saying her vodka soda just tastes like soda. Average prices, parking is annoying there’s no valet or anything so good luck because the parking in Hoboken in general is a pain in the butt.

Came here last night on Halloween. Expensive 20 $ cover charge. Could’ve used a better dj. Kudos to the bartender in the room upon entrance. She made a great LIT. Was very confused when I went over to the next room serving LITs for a dollar extra in a smaller cup. Overall, great lively crowd. Will come again.

Night started w some confusion as we were told ladies free before 12 but were charged a $ 10 cover. Drinks were weak and overpriced. Website dress code stated no sneakers, etc but I was somewhat surprised at how under dressed many people were for a club. On a positive note, music was bumping and it was a fun atmosphere!

Terrible experience, was in the VIP section with a client and the club refused to turn the a/c down. So the only area to sit was at the most, and I mean the most, 50 degrees. We kept asking them to either move us to a different section or turn the a/c down and they refused. Terrible customer service will never be back.

Went to reign last night to celebrate a birthday– having worked at various nightclubs in Hoboken I always heard about how bad the bouncers were but never experienced it firsthand until last night… My girlfriends and I were on the dance floor and there was a photographer who kept taking pictures of us and we didn’t want him to… My husband asked him to stop taking pictures and oneof the bouncers grabbed my husbands arm and started blinking his little flashlight and kicked him and his friends out while saying«I hate cops»(they have the stereotypical shaved head look of police officers). With employees like that I don’t see reign lasting too much longer and it shouldn’t if that’s how customers are going to be treated, especially when there were 15 of us causing zero problems.

I’m going to start this by saying, BOA needs to come back. Last night was my first time going to Reign after they replaced what used to be BOA. Entry cover was reduced thanks to the promotion going on, entering at 11 I didn’t expect much of the crowd just yet as it takes until midnight to get some what«packed». The DJ was playing some old early 2000 hip hop hits which is cool because normally when clubs open they start slow to just get things flowing. After midnight struck the place didn’t get as packed as I expected from previous times I’ve been to the venue, it was 12:30 now and the DJ didn’t pick up momentum. The«mixes» he was playing were so old and out dated, randomly played music on the radio today and then went straight into old school dance then to reggae then hip hop and kill it back with old beats. It was horrible. Don’t waste your money, the crowd was weird, a lot of characters in there. Very disappointing, needless to say, Reign sucks. Bring BOA back.

I am a big bourbon drinker, and while the bar I ordered from had little in the way of whiskey selection, I figured you can’t go wrong with Maker’s on the rocks. My friend got Jameson on the rocks. We both take a sip, and neither tastes right. It tasted like we’d been given bottom shelf whisky poured into top shelf bottles. If I had any doubts, about 4 sips in I got heartburn from how harsh the bourbon was, and that has never happened to me when drinking Maker’s(I have more experience with this than I should admit). Even better we were charged $ 12 a piece for the privilege. I’ve worked in clubs and know that this sort of thing happens when management thinks the patrons will be too wasted to notice the bait and switch… well, we noticed. Didn’t ask for a refund/new drink because it’s not the bartender’s fault and short of seeing her open a fresh bottle, I wouldn’t trust anything from their bar. Maybe people go here to get wasted and dance and don’t care what they’re drinking… but I do, and I won’t be back.

I was there saturday night. crowd and music was too ghetto for my taste but just wanted to give 5 stars for the 2 workers i encountered — awesome coat check girl and awesome female bartender in the upstairs bar! they were abnormally nice and professional! so rare to find this. thank you!

The only reason I gave it one less star is because one bartender on 12÷31÷14 who was working on the second floor(curly hair and skanky outfit). She was rude, completely skipped girls waiting to get served in favor for guys and the worst part… ASKEDFORTIPS. After paying $ 100 for an open bar and getting shitty service from her she had the audacity to ASK for a tip. I would’ve tipped you anyway girl if you didn’t suck so much. My advice great place but AVOID that bartender. My advice to the manager… fire that bitch.

Worst club in Hoboken. After waiting 26 minutes for a bad drink, rude management and the horrible table service, I can’t say anything good about this place other than it has potential to be great if it were run by proffesionals.

Formerly called Club Boa, this place is definitely a good time. I went there on a Friday night with a few friends and the place was packed. Dj Toro was playing so that was a plus and there’s reduced admission if you’re on the guest list(which we were). Drinks weren’t incredibly expensive(about $ 11), they were strong and the bartenders were attentive. Only negatives were that upstairs can get overly crowded and they made us wait outside even though it wasn’t too crowded inside when we arrived. I understand that nightclubs like to keep a line outside so it looks like a happening spot but it still isn’t pleasant to stand outside in heels. Overall, thumbs up from me.
