I have owned a business in Hoboken for 24 years and I was the neighbor who lived next door while Red worked on the house next door to me for almost a year. I really enjoyed those guys. So much so I hired them for a job myself. Yes they took up space on the street but my tickets I got for parking inappropriately were my laziness for not parking properly!!! If I wanted to park in front of my apt, condo, or brownstone every night I would be living in the suburbs with a driveway. Also if Walter didn’t call you ASAP its because he’s on every job site every day! Quite commendable for a contractor in this town or most towns for that matter!!! But one would only know that having ever had any contractor to work for you. If you couldn’t speak to Walter crazy as you might think, all of his guys do speak English you could’ve just asked them if there was an issue.
