Established in 2008.

Private Receptions is a full service wedding planning, design, and production company founded by Nerissa Balland and operated by Lauren Ricciardelli and Lexi Weinberg. The firm specializes in one-​of-​a-​kind weddings that represent their client’s unique style and vision.

Our team is dedicated to creating seamless events without sacrificing style. We alleviate anxiety and frustration that often people acquire when faced with the complexity of planning and producing their own Wedding — making you able to relax and enjoy your dream wedding!

Lauren R.

Business Owner

Lauren works with clients to create a unique planning experience and a fresh visionary perspective that she then executes into an eventful and memorable occasion. Her calm demeanor and «can-​do» attitude are a breath of fresh air to any bride during the wedding planning process.

Lauren achieved her MFA in Arts Management from Montclair State University and in tandem earned a Certificate in Wedding Planning from the QC School of Weddings and Events in 2010.

Prior to her academic achievements Lauren spent her post undergraduate years working within legal & insurance brokerage firms planning company events, as well as working within the Development Department of the Montclair Art Museum. Her ability to handle difficult situations with grace, and impeccable attention to detail make her a great asset to any team.
