History

Established in 2012.

Next Basket Wins was orginally created when the New York Knicks needed help developing a system to help track player summer workouts for the coaching staff to evaluate. NBW was hired and successfully built a mobile application that let players track shooting workouts and have it sent directly to a member of the staff. NBW started conducting individual workouts for professional players and helping college athletes reach their next level on and off the court. In the Summer of 2013 NBW created a summer camp structure in Westchester County in NY as well as in Hudson County in NJ. With momentum from the Summer, Fall and Winter clinics were established to guide local HS players to prepare for their seasons. In 2014 adult leagues were added to the programs directed by NBW. Next Basket Wins now operates year round with all ages and skill experience from beginners learning the game to high level scholarship college players to professional athletes all over the world.

Next Basket Wins Founder and Executive Director Andrew Impastato is a former HS 1,000^th point scorer at Freehold Twp HS in Freehold, NJ, he played college basketball at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, is a former assistant coach at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY, and worked at the NBA office. Coach Andrew has trained several NBA players and leads workouts with many high level college players helping them to reach their next level. Next Basket Wins, under Andrew Impastato’s direction, is a staple of learning the game of basketball the right way.
