Mile Square Towing

They pulled a gun on me.
Evil people. Yeah, getting towed sucks. Wasn’t in the best of moods having to get my car and pay $ 300 at 1AM, but they condescendingly egg you on?
Here’s what happened: I paid, they gave me my keys, I go to their garage, get to my car and it’s locked. I was so frustrated that I was was like ‘guys my cars locked’ probably not in the nicest of tones either. Guy jumped all over that, ‘what ru f****** stupid?! You have the f***** keys dumbass.’ Well, I got in my car had some choice words about them and their industry and their ability to sleep at night. Did my best to cut to the core as I was pulling out of their garage. Three guys following me as I’m pulling out, cursing, screaming, egging me on calling me stupid and making fun of my old car. I’m on the street now while we’re still yapping at each other and one of them pulls a gun out of his waste band and tells me to step back inside ‘come on, come back in’ ‘come on stupid’ ‘what are you afraid?’ I called the police the next day. They said to come in and fill out a report. Don’t want to give these thugs anymore of my time so I didn’t, but please be advised.

This place should be closed. Every single person I have come in contact with as been incredibly rude to both my boyfriend and I. No one deserves to be treated like a piece of trash.

just to jumpstart your car is $ 40, didnt even call them, they just happen to drive by and ask for help, and the jump start didnt even take 5 seconds. the money will not even go to the office, it’ll go straight to their pocket since i didnt call them.
never call this towing service.
very lucky there is no negative rating here.

We were parked in a lot yesterday for a Unilocal event at San Giusepee. As the event winded down, people decided to take the party over to Carpe Diem Pub & Restaurant which was a block from where we were. So, we lefted the car in the lot for about 30 minutes. As we were walking back, we noticed the car was missing but saw a tow truck driving around picking up cars in the same lot. That’s right, the car was towed.
The experience could have been much worst but at least we were able to get car the same night.
Long story short… read all the signs in any parking lot in Hoboken or better yet, never leave your car unintended because it will be towed.

I had the misfortune of dealing with this business after I was in a car accident. Not knowing any better, I allowed them to tow my car to their lot, where they held it hostage over a long holiday weekend, of course charging me all the way. Each conversation with the secretary was rude and unprofessional, and an unneeded stressor in an already stressful situation.
I don’t know whose palms they greased to get the contract as the official Hoboken towing company, but they certainly didn’t earn it based on service or professionalism. Next time, I will put my car in neutral and push it to the body shop myself for a less agonizing experience.

I would rather have my car pushed into the Hudson River than have to deal with Mile Square Towing and their so-​called «employees» ever again. This woman/​transvestite, Nadine, is a bitter rotten c u next Tuesday who clearly has never seen outside that filthy disgusting building. It’s embarrassing that the town of Hoboken would have a contract with such a disgraceful business.

If there was a way to give negative stars for Miles Square Towing they could easily deserve it. 2 Disclaimers before I submit my review… 1) They’re in the unfortunate position to deal with customer upset about their cars being towed and 2) WE are in the unfortunate position of them not giving a crap since regardless of what type of service they give a us, we ultimately rely on them for getting our car back.
I’m sitting at work now after understanding that my car was towed minutes after they called me to move it. I’m still shocked that I managed to park in an emergency spot after being overly cautious of where I was. It’s hard for someone, without knowing me, to really understand or believe me for that matter when i say «I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE WHERE THIS BOGUS EMERGENCY SIGN WAS???»
None the less this is a review about Miles Square TERRIBLE service, mainly attributed to the witch called «Nadine.» I spoke with over the phone to find out if they take credit and immediately she was mordacious with me. I mentioned my car was just towed and I’ll have to come pick it up now and she responds «WELL YOU THINK!!!» I can easily disregard it until she tells me I don’t care if you have to get on your damn skate board to get it out of here but you’re coming to get it. Baffled by where this came from, I’m now dreading going over there because I’m sure her antics will only get worse through the day.
Don’t park in Hoboken and you shouldn’t have to deal with this poor service of this establishment.

Long story short… got my car towed twice in a week back in the summer of 2010… used to live in Hoboken for two years, moved up to Weehawken, now my GF lives down in Hoboken… first time I was «parked in a crosswalk»…false. Second time I was «parked in a bus stop» true, but usually they give you til 6−7am to move your car… whatever the case may be.
Nadine is a cracked out hooker who cursed, screamed, hollered and used the most profane language I have ever heard in public when I went to pick up my car because she was just bent out of shape.
The second time I had to go I sent my girlfriend in so that I didn’t have to deal with her again. My GF confirmed the fact that she looks like a meth addict’s stunt double.
Try to avoid getting towed by these folks at all cost becuase dealing with Nadine is like dealing with the devil on earth.
