Learn Language Hoboken is a Language School located in Hoboken, NJ. We specialize in Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin and German. Our clients range from young children to adults of all ages.

We are currently offering a NEW Mommy & Me Series in Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin and German, with 9:30am & 10:30am options AND After-​School Language Enrichment for children ages 3−5yrs and 6−9yrs.

Adult Language Classes meet weekly and group class hours are 6:45 — 7:45pm and 8−9pm.

Private lesson are also available and are customizable and flexible to meet your language goals and scheduling needs.

Learn Language Hoboken has paired together with Chef Marla to offer Group Cooking Classes for adults, it’s a great way to meet new friends and learn how to make amazing Italian specialties at the same time. Check out our website for menu options and class dates. We also organize Private Cooking Classes for Parties, Corporate Team-​Building or Client Outings.

Business Owner

Dana has spent the last 12 years dedicating herself to learning and teaching Italian. It has been her dream to open a school and to share the gift of language with others. In 2012 she opened Learn Italian Hoboken and in one short year the school has grown to offer more than just Italian, but now Spanish, French and Mandarin to children and adults.

Dana believes that in an evolving world the importance of multilingualism is essential.

I have been taking private lessons at Learn Language for about a year and continue to be thrilled. Dana, the owner, has been incredibly accommodating and flexible with my busy schedule. renzo, my tutor, is a wonderful teacher who is able to explain complex ideas simply and clearly so that the lessons fly by and feel more like play than work. And best of all, I feel my language skills improving rapidly and my confidence in my new language increasing everyday. I am so grateful to have Learn Language here in town and not have to go into Manhattan for high quality language classes.

I attended one of the cooking classes that Learn Italian Hoboken held and it was fantastic! Not only did I learn about the food in a particular region of Italy, but I had a great experience learning to cook. It made all my Italian lessons come to life as I was using my Italian in a very practical and real setting. I loved it and would do it again for sure. I already told a lot of my friends about it!

I am currently participating in the one-​on-​one tutoring Learn Italian Hoboken provides. When I began, what first struck me about Dana (the owner) is her passion for what she does. She teaches with a smile and plenty of positive reinforcement. Her program is fun, with dinners scheduled from time to time at Italian restaurants for all those taking her class, and I have really learned a lot in a short amount of time. Her operation is growing due to its early success and she is bringing on additional teachers. For businesses, this could be a good or bad thing depending on the hiring decisions that are made. The personalization and joy of the early days could possibly dissipate, right? Well, I have also studied under Laura, her new teaching teammate, and Laura too is great! Or shall I say — molto buona! :) She shares the same traits that originally drew me to Dana. Trust me, go through the program. You will learn a beautiful language and enjoy every step of the way.
