History

Established in 2015.

In October 2015, Yes I Do! Unique Invitations and Gifts was transferred into the hands of Chelsey Blake. With funky new inventory and a fierce passion for paper, we’ve transformed into Hudson Paperie, giving a fresh new spin to the business that has been a staple of downtown Hoboken since the early 1990s. Offering custom invitations, stationary, and not-​so-​run-​of-​the-​mill gifts, Hudson Paperie strives to be the go-​to place for paper goods and gifts.

Hudson Paperie is owned and operated by Chelsey Blake, a Pennsylvania native who fell in love with the Hoboken scene following her move here after college. With a career in corporate event planning and marketing behind her, Chelsey has always had a fierce passion for all things creative. For the past few years, she has dabbled in social event planning which led to invitation design and a part-​time job managing her Etsy shop for custom invitations. In 2015, the stars aligned just right and Chelsey linked up with former Yes I Do! owner, Susanna Curran, and took the plunge into turning her hobby into a career.
