I used to be terrified of the dentist or even stepping foot in the office. Danielle was extremely friendly and VERY gentile when performing the work on my mouth. Because of her and Dr. Farag, I will be returning regularly

I had the best experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. So detail oriented and caring. The whole office is on their game, so refreshing to see a team work so well together.

I moved to Hoboken in the spring and was absolutely dreading the search for a new dentist. I was referred to Farag Dentistry by a friend, of whom also lives in Hoboken. My friend told me she’s never been to a better dentist — and she was right.
The front desk staff was welcoming, warm and dealt with my paperwork quickly. I only had to wait about 5 minutes total, before being ushered in for my general cleaning and x-​rays. The dental hygienist was extremely efficient and before long my cleaning was complete.
Dr. Farag met me, examined my teeth, and as others below have stated, «didn’t try to upsell me» on anything. She was no-​nonsense and thorough, and very friendly.
I highly recommend Dr. Farag and her wonderful dentistry. From start to finish, the best dental experience I have ever had.

I’m giving them 3 stars for a decent experience. This was my first dental visit to the office and I did find it to have pretty nice digs — each dentist’s chair is equiped with it’s own TV for comfort. Unfortunately the main part of the experience is with the hygienist and sadly mine was a bit grumpy. She didn’t say hello, was pretty curt and in the beginning she was almost rough with my cleaning. I had to stop her and say, «calm down a bit with the pressure.» After the rough opening, she eventually settled down and I will say her cleaning skills are leaps and bounds better than her bedside manner. My teeth came out sparkling.
Dr. Farag is a very sweet lady and I enjoyed her company. I do plan on returning and giving them a second chance. Maybe it was just a bad day for the hygienist and who hasn’t had one of those. Her technical skills and knowledge are unquestionable so I won’t be too harsh. Just being honest here. 5 stars for the cleaning but 1 star for the initial service which evens out to 3 stars.

Great office. Staff is friendly and the dr is good at what she does. I’ve been here before for general cleanings etc but when I was in pain with my tooth they were able to fit me in right away! I was referred to a specialist but they were super helpful to get me the right care I needed. Def recommend!

Had loved the cleaning staff at the dentist and did not have any problems until Dr Farag suggested some enamel wear and possible cavities. I had two cavities preemptively filled based on the opinion of Dr. Farag that they would eventually break through the enamel and require fillings. Both cavities were filled improperly leaving me with little room to floss between the teeth. After revisiting Dr. Farag and telling staff this they had informed me the problem was «fixed» even though I still had trouble flossing. I ultimately decided to take my business elsewhere for my next cleaning. Upon going to another dentist, the problem that was «fixed» actually had worsened causing food to constantly get stuck and resulted in a cavity on a healthy tooth next to it. Not only do I now have to have the filling Dr. Farag did removed and redone I have to have another filling on a tooth that was otherwise healthy causing a lot of money and time wasted.

Hands down the best dentist around!!!
I have hated going to the dentist since being a young child, but thanks to Dr Farag and her staff, now i just don’t like it. The office is immaculate and modern unlike many dentist offices that just seem dingy and dated. The staff are all professional, personable, and well-​trained. Everyone seems to be happy to work at the office, unlike some doctors you visit where the staff acts like you are lucky they are seeing you.
As for Dr. Farag, she is incredibly talented. I have been to her office about 10 times over the last 2 years and have left incredibly happy with her work, every time. She takes extra special care to ensure you are not feeling any pain, even if the job takes longer, and requires additional novocaine. Additionally, this is the only dentist that I have visited in the last 10 years who has not attempted to sell me on additional needed services. Lastly, she is an extremely warm, funny, and friendly person who remembers her patients.
My wife and I moved away last year and we still drive 40 minutes back for our appointments because neither of us is willing to even try someone else.

Never have I ever had a dentist I actually liked going to until now. The office has a modern feel to it and the staff are extremely friendly. The actual dentistry work was also great you can’t expect not to feel pain sometimes when doing certain work but everyone cares no one actually wants to hurt you. Dr Farag is so nice she remembers things about her patients and gives you that «I care» feeling. All important qualities for a dentist.
This place does not accept my insurance so I pay a little extra but it’s worth it. I’d rather pay and be happy especially when it comes to my teeth. Too many bad dentists out there I’m happy to of found one I like.

Great experience. Got a cleaning and checkup. The cleaning was very thorough — I actually like coming out of a dentist’s office feeling like I’m in pain. I feel like some dentists don’t clean as thoroughly and my teeth don’t feel any cleaner than when I brush my teeth and floss.
I also appreciated that she didn’t try to upsell me with services like other dentists do.
There’s a TV to watch while you’re sitting in the chair, which helps time pass.

Dr. Farag has a great practice and is the first dentist I’ve ever been to that has a flat screen in every room where the patient can watch TV while he or she gets treated. There’s nothing like getting a cleaning while watching Property Brothers. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments after work, as well as setting up payment plans.

Great dentist!!! Would highly recommend to anyone who cares about their teeth and for anyone who likes a very friendly dentist to take care of your mouth. Office is very clean and staff is very courteous.

Dr Farag is awesome! They played top 40 music while she worked on my mouth! She was very gentle and patient… I’m a complete wimp! She is awesome, and so is her team. I move a lot with my job, and always have a hard time finding a dentist! I’m so glad I found her early on in my stay in New Jersey!

Dr. Farag and her staff are FANTASTIC!!! I’ve always had to have a lot of dental work done (which I hate no matter), but the awesome deamenor of she and her staff, make it feel like I’m coming to my friend’s house to have some work done. Everyone is so caring and personable, and they really do care about you. Fantastic customer service, and even better dental care.

I have been going to Dr. Farag for about 4 years now and followed her to the new beautiful location. Before going to her I had another dentist in Hoboken (to remain nameless) charge me almost double for a general cleaning. On top of that they tried to tell me I needed a gum cutting procedure (not covered by insurance) done. I had been reluctant to do this gum cutting procedure and rightfully so. I had went to Dr. Farag to get a bonding replaced (still looks great 4 years later by the way) as well for a second opinion. She suggested their was no need for that procedure. This was 4 years ago, no problems since and never looked back. With Dr. Farag you get a knowledgeable dentist who does pristine work. She has a professional bedside manner and will not try to add on unnecessary services to make an extra buck.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT GO HERE!!! First of all, she does not know what she is doing. She caused an excruciating amount of pain, and did not even fix the problem. I had to go to another dentist who had to ask me where I went the first time because the job Farag did was so terrible. Don’t let her fool you, she has no skill or talent, doesn’t know how to fix the problem, and even worse is only concerned about making $$$

Unable to figure out how to type in insurance information. I abandoned my appointment after 30 minutes and walked to another dentist who was able to type it in successfully. Simply pathetic.

As a kid I had to have major dental work done over the course of several years and remember quite vividly my long and often painful experiences. Dr. Farag and her hygienist, Danielle, were nothing of the sort.
From the start the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even as I was being checked in and filling out paperwork, the girl at the front desk must have noticed my apprehension and said, «Don’t worry it won’t be nearly as bad as you’re expecting.» It wasn’t bad at all actually. IT WAS GOOD! Danielle, the hygienist who did my cleaning was extremely attentive and efficient. She told me exactly what she was doing when she was doing it. She moved deliberately and intentionally when doing my cleaning without dilly-​dallying like my last dentist. She was gentle to start and always checked with me when she was going to be more firm. Best of all, she let me take multiple short breaks so my jaw could rest. Simply put, Danielle was AWESOME. Now that I’m not terrified to go and the cleaning was actually PLEASANT, I’ll definitely be back for regular checkups and cleanings just because of her.
Dr. Farag stepped in to fill a cavity for me. Again, she was extremely attentive and efficient. She explained exactly what she was going to drill and about how long it would take, checked with me several times to make sure I couldn’t feel a thing, and was done in a timely fashion. Not only this, but I appreciate her honesty. I had questions about how things felt in my mouth and she took the time to examine each area thoroughly and assess if there was actually anything wrong. More than that, she was extremely knowledgeable about the work that had already been done in my mouth.
I have another appointment here to get the other half of my mouth done and am looking forward to it. Rare is it that I’ve heard good stories coming out of a dentist’s office, but this place is top notch. I’ll be returning and recommending them on a regular basis.

I’m not a fan of the dentist… I mean, who is? This office is CLEAN and the people are super nice and personable. Dr. Farag is awesome and they have a TV in every room (should you choose to watch)
Really, the best dentist office I’ve ever visited, hands down. Not only that, her work is top notch. She recently replaced some fillings that had come loose, and they’re better than new!

It’s very refreshing to have finally found an honest dentist. I just had a filling, cleaning and crown set by Dr. Farag. She is very good, thorough and explains why things are happening to your teeth (I had an issue.). Her staff is also very kind and sweet. Definitely going back!
