Dina’s Kiss and Makeup

Just came back from Dina’s Kiss and Makeup Salon and I couldn’t rave about it more. The salon is super cute and cozy. The owner Dina is the sweetest. We talked the whole time! It had been an embarrassing three years since my last haircut and I was obviously in desperate need for my hair to look healthy. I told Dina I was a little nervous as last time I got a haircut the hairdresser just chopped it right off after I said don’t cut a lot. Dina assured me i would hardly notice a difference but would have healthy hair again. She was right! I was able to keep the length and have super bouncy healthy hair. I found a hair stylist I absolutely can trust! I left already wanting to make my next appointment for Coloring! Thank you Dina!

I’ve gone to DKM for spray tans, blow outs, hair cuts, and color. I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Dina and Brittany are both awesome and so nice! Brittany just gave me my first «short» haircut in my life, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. After trying MANY places in both NYC and Hoboken, I finally feel like I’ve found MY salon at DKM.
I have never gotten my makeup done here, but that’s the next thing I want to try!

I went here right before going out for NYE. I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my makeup. I think the thing I kept hearing the most was my makeup especially my eyes were flawless. I will definitely be going back.

Dina has done my hair and makeup several times. Her salon in Hoboken is really easy to get to (steps from the PATH), but she is also very flexible with locations — I have booked her all over NYC. Favorite lip gloss of all time is by DKM, ‘Strut.’ (Try it.)

Dina and her team are excellent! She and Brittany did the hair and makeup for my wedding and I couldn’t have asked for anything better! They were on time and kept on schedule and made everyone look beautiful. What more could you ask for? I had a total of myself, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers. Her prices are reasonable and she travelled to CT! Thank you Dina and Brittany, I don’t know what I would’ve done without your girls!

Dina and Brittany are both extremely talented in makeup, hair color and styling as well as spray tans. Dina literally transforms people with her contouring skills. I’ve gone for hair, makeup applicaiton and frequent for organic spray tans. Prices are reasonable.

Came into NJ from the west coast to get a spray for a wedding. Dina was so professional and walked me through the process. Took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. The tan was soooo natural! I have really pale skin so it’s tough to get the right color but she did the airbrush perfectly. It looked amazing. Thanks Dina! If I’m ever back in Hoboken I’ll be sure to pay you a visit.

Hands-​down the best organic airbrush tan. Dina is amazing and always manages to squeeze me in… even when her schedule is booked! I go to her whenever I need to throw on a cocktail dress, and because of her I always look great and feel great. I’ll never go to anyone else for my spray tans. Go to Dina!

Dina gave me a haircut right after work — was affordable and fast and the job is excellent! My hair feels much healthier and the angle work is perfect.

I have lived in Hoboken for a year now and can’t believe yesterday was my first time trying this salon out! I was in need of a spray tan for a concert and Dina did an amazing job. I haven’t gotten a spray tan in years– to be honest I was a little nervous– but she gave me instruction, options on the color intensity and made me feel extremely comfortable. She is so sweet and knowledgable and you really can’t beat a flawless natural spray tan for $ 35 (I did the rapid tan but the regular is $ 30). The salon is clean and cozy and the service from every staff member from the time I walked in to the time I left was wonderful. I had a great experience here and will definitely be returning, not only for another spray tan but for other beauty services as well.

I was in town for a concert and wanted a little fun color in my hair so I went into DKM and got exactly what I was looking for. Super cute purple streaks done by both Dina and her manager Brittney and the perfect trim and blowout that had me looking adorbs for my show. Dina was so helpful and went out of her way to make sure I was happy before I left. next time I am in the city I will totally be back. Thanks Dina and Britt! Xoxo

The best thing I can say about Dina, is that she is quite literally an angel. I have known her since 2009, and every time I have been around her she has ALWAYS put a smile on my face. Going to Dina’s Kiss & Makeup is seriously like a tiny mini vacation that I get throughout my week and I look forward to it every time!
Over the past few years I have had a LOT of amazing people touch my hair and change small things here and there. Once Dina styled and dyed my hair, she is now the only human being that is allowed to touch my hair or face. Anyone that knows me at all, knows that I hate when people touch my head. And unfortunately most hair stylists have not given me exactly what I need to ensure my round face looks at least a little oval ;)
I have gone in for everything at the salon. I have had my makeup done, I have bought so much makeup there (for myself and for gifts) and I swear by DKM powder and blush. I have had the same blush FOREVER because the quality is great and it doesn’t crumble the way a lot of brands do. The spray tans always come out incredible and I am always looking nice and bronzed. Just like I came back from a nice vacation.
Dina’s salon is seriously just a pleasure to step into and I love seeing a friendly smile every time I go. If you’re in the Hoboken area, or even if you’re in NYC… do yourselves a favor and visit. You will leave w a smile on your face.

Dina is awesome and Hoboken is very lucky to have her and her shop. I met Dina years ago and had my makeup done for a TV pilot I was in. She did an incredible job, it was my first experience with air brush makeup. It held up all day under all those sweltering lights.
Over the years I have seen Dina for makeup advice, to buy her products, and to get spray tans… that look amazing BTW.
Recently I got married and Dina did my makeup and my whole bridal party’s makeup. We all looked great. I went for a trial run beforehand and couldn’t believe the transformation. My makeup held up all day and the pictures look flawless… and I know my skin is not flawless.
Above all Dina is a good person, she cares about her clients and their happiness. You bet I will be in there for more services and especially those spray tans! Keep em coming Dina! I wish you nothing but success!

I recently moved to Hoboken and knew nobody. As I walked around my 1^st weekend here i saw Dina’s Kiss and Makeup. It looked cute, and I needed a new salon, so I went in and gave it a shot. I have VERY dark natural hair (almost black when I went in there because my friend and I tried to box dye it a few weeks before). Well, Dina and her crew took one look at me and made it happen. After some amazing conversation, fun music, and finding out the «hot spots» of Hoboken, i had not only blonde hair, but some new friends :) This place is jam packed with awesome makeup, stylists and just kind hearted people. I would never go anywhere else. Thanks for the amazing job and making me feel so comfortable! THIS PLACE ROCKS !

Dina gave me the makeover of my dreams! Best haircut I have ever had plus super natural looking highlights. I’m a redhead and it’s super challenging to get highlights that blend in with my hair but Dina did a great job. Also I have never had a spray tan before because I’m super pale and freckled– Dina gave me a natural looking tan that actually works with my skin tone and I no longer look like a ghost. Oh did I mention she’s way more affordable than the NYC salons I used to go to? Won’t go anywhere else!

I’ve very fair-​skinned, so I get a fair number of spray tans. But because I’m fair skinned, a fair number of spray tans also look ridiculous on me. Dina’s is the best I’ve ever had, and for half the price of most others. I couldn’t recommend her and the salon more.

What’s a girl to do when she’s a mid-​winter shade of pale, headed off for a tropical vacation, and doesn’t want to get burned to a crisp? Spray tan, obviously!
Dina took my spray tan cherry, and let’s just say, she was very gentle. She provided the necessary accoutrement, hair net, disposable skivvies, and the all important foot stickies. She warned me when it was going to be VERY cold and offered encouragement along the way. The result was a natural glow. No orange tint. No streaks or blotches. Just tan from tip to toe.
$ 35 well spent.

I was in need on a gel manicure and I saw on the Hoboken Girl FB page that Dina Kiss and Makeup was offering $ 20 gel manicure as a special. The phrase «You get what you pay for» couldn’t be more true in this instance. Although the staff were all extremely friendly and polite I walked out with the WORST manicure I have ever received from a salon. After soaking off my previous gel, the manicurist then used an electric tool to remove the rest of the gel where she also hit my skin/​cuticles in the process causing several of my fingers to bleed. After this she went right to painting my nails, never filing or priming prior to putting on the new gel.
