History

Established in 2009.

What started as a small dream just a few years ago has finally blossomed into more than I could have imagined. I have been tinkering in the «do-​it-​yourself» arena for quite some time and there was only one thing I was good at. I could make things from wood and I could refinish anything made of wood and make it look brand new. AS many couples first starting out we had gotten the hand me down furniture, those of you who know about this also know none of it matches anything else in your house or apartment. So that is where I began, refinishing and modifying furniture to fit my needs. As my wife jokes she tells people «He can’t fix a hole in the wall, but he can sure make beautiful furniture.» Shortly there after I began taking woodworking classes at a vocational school and still had that small dream of running my own business. After taking classes and making furniture for a company in Chicago I finally took the step to create my own company.

As you read in the company history that is a majority of my story and how I started this company. There are more reasons than I can list why I started my own company. One huge one is customer service. Have you ever taken out a warranty on something and when it breaks the warranty won’t cover that specific reason. Not with us there is a few things that our warranty won’t cover and some examples are flooding, fire, and theft. Pretty much along the lines of an insurer coverage is not covered under our warranty.

Delivery this one is one huge sticking point when I say I will be there at 9:00 am then I will be there at that time. Too many times have I waited on delivery guys who said 9:00 and showed at 10:30. If there is one thing we can all consider valuable it is our time.
