I love T & T’s. If you have a teen daughter bring her here and spend the day in lovely Hinsdale. Did you know Hinsdale was listed in the original Preppy Handbook circa 1982? It one of the only Midwest towns/​cities that was. I digress. This store has top-​notch service. The ladies that work here are a blast and they have great sales. It’s a fun place to get shoes and preppy handbags If you have little ones they have a cool selection of toys. Go here and then slum it and have lunch at the little diner across from the train station and get a frankcheesie or go to the old school Chinese restaurant on Washington Street for a cheap American/​Chinese lunch. Yep, they have moo moo gai pan, the beigest entrée ever! Watch out for Landrovers driven by Hinsdale ladies (not broads) in their Lily gear. Support these indie gems Unilocalers!

Tigers and Tulips is a fabulous store. Their selection is incredible, prices competitive and the service and ATTITUDE – UNBEATABLE!
The owner is gracious and helpful-​even with a return. Tricia, the employee in the children’s section is a sweet voice and face of the store, so helpful, kind and goes the extra mile in every way.
We are so impressed with T and T and will definitely be back – especially for UGGS and kids’ shoes and boots.

Sad to say I had an awful experience here this week. I took my 3 young boys in for shoes. There was only one worker in the store during a busy back to school morning. I waited behind 2 families, each with multiple children. After a wait of more than 30 minutes, I finally got my boys fitted for shoes and the boys were told to pick out 2 colors they liked. The only worker in the store took care of us while taking care of several other customers, we never really got individual attention. One of the boys picked out 2 colors as directed, and both were out of stock. We were very close to leaving with no shoes for any boy as the service was so terrible I did not want to give this store my business. However, my baby really needed shoes, so I got him a pair. I was charged about 7 dollars higher than the shoe box indicated. I thought it sounded high, checked the price on the box once I got back to the car, then had to drag 3 boys back to the store to get my refund. This was a terrible experience. I expect more from a small business. I went here hoping to be fitted by a qualified person, then get the necessary attention to get shoes that fit my children. This was not the case. I am happy to wait in line behind other families if the quality of service is there once it is my turn. However the worker seemed way too distracted to even check if the shoes we selected fit.

This pricey women and children shoe store also carries such a wide range of children’s toys. The owner choses cool items for kids which are the latest trends or fads that kids love! I usually only come here for the kid stuff. Super friendly owner.

Love this shop! Our go to source for birthday gifts for kids, they have super trendy gift items. Includes gift wrapping. The front of store has cute shoes for women which are not expensive for the quality, and in the back has shoes geared more toward toddlers. Really personal friendly service. They couldn’t be more helpful. Vera Bradley bags.

Tigers & Tulips has drop-​dead gorgeous shoes for women and children. They are a bit pricey, however, even when on sale. However, the service is terrific The owner engages in some smart marketing, too, in carrying trendy trinkets for kids and pre-​teens. Kids can purchase little treasures from the store’s inventory for under $ 10. Knowing that T&T is a resource for the latest «in» accessories, kids will come back — and bring Mom with them.

Very nice store with great selection and good sales (according to my wife). I actually like the way its layed out as she can come in with our girls, shop and we dont end up spending two hours there while she picks through merchandise to find what she wants. Very friendly staff too

So much more than just beautiful shoes for women and children. They have stunning handbags and a varity of gifts for the children. I love shopping here where the owner is sure to remember your name. Great customer service.

This is a great women and children’s shoe store. They carry all the great brands. For women they stock brands like Cole Haan, Stuart Weitzman and Juicy Couture (among others). For kids they have Stride Rite, Umi, Pediped and many more.
The service is great! It’s better than Nordstrom and the prices are totally competitive. It’s now my first stop for shoes. They are also just fabulous with my rambunctious boys (which is no small task).
