This Appalachian Artisan Center (Gallery) has lots of local and traditional crafts on display and for sale. I don’t have much experience with other galleries, but this one has a feeling of comfort. The Artisan Center also has some Appalachian books on sale. The best part is that there is a café in the building, so while you eat, you can rest your eyes on some craftwork.

Beautiful crafty items from all over Kentucky. Service is also top-​notch. I got to see some of the instruments in the shop and was so impressed by the hard work poured into them, and the masters were so friendly. It’s located right in town and one section has a café in it.
