Very nice track, pretty scenery, great condition. Challenging enough yet not super punishing. Would definitely play again if I make it up to Hilton Head Island in the future.

My golf game was non existent for this great track unfortunately. It’s in very good condition with no bare spots or poorly maintained areas anywhere. The greens were in good condition and rolling fast down grain and slower against. Only 17⁄18 greens weren’t in immaculate condition. The winter grass should be coming in soon which will make this a great treat for the winter months! If it’s windy good luck, as the course takes a trip right up to the ocean it gets very windy quick!

If your looking for the best place to play. This is it. If money is no option then come by this place because it’s one of the nicest and best around. The cost is 130 per player I believe which is very high but that gives you the exceptional lay out and great course to play on with a bar half way through your 18 hole trip. Great place to play.

The RTJ Ocean Course at Palmetto Dunes is a great place to play while on Hilton Head. The course is in great shape. Oceanfront is a bit of a stretch as there is one hole that plays out to the ocean. The carts have GPS which is a nice benefit. The only downside was slow play, but I think it may have been isolated to one slow group ahead of us.

Picturesque and challenging(made even more so by the heavy rains the night before), the Jones Course is one of three on the Palmetto Dunes resort property. There are a fair number of water hazards to play over or around, so plan your club selection appropriately.

Great course! Well maintained, quite challenging, picturesque. Although there is water on most holes, the fairways are a little wider than the Arthur Hills and Fazio courses, so it balances out. Definitely the nicest course at Palmetto Dunes.

I really enjoy the Trent-Jones Course. I’ve played it 3 times, it’s a beautiful course. It gets crowded and a little slower than the other Palmetto Dunes courses as it’s the most popular. It pays to play aggressive– there are very generous drop zones, usually on the other side of the water. It’s a challenging course, but I can make any course challenging!

We played this course on the last day of our HHI trip. The course has a challenging layout with water hazards on 11 of the 18 holes, you’ll probably see an alligator or two during the round. The signature hole is the tenth hole with ocean view and the course plays over 7000 yards from the back tees. We enjoyed the scenery especially on the back nine with large plantation style homes lining the fairways. I ended up losing the last hole so drinks and appetizers were on me at the Jones Grill.
