Enmark is a small chain of gas stations and convenience stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Most of their locations are in Georgia, but there are several in South Carolina including two on Hilton Head Island. There’s one on the north end of the island and one of the south end. This review is for the location on the south end(Enmark Station #848), just outside the Sea Pines Resort near the roundabout. Lately, this station has been one of our family’s preferred stations to fill-up. It’s clean, conveniently located, easy to pull into and out of, and the gas prices are great(relatively speaking). Coming from North Carolina and Georgia, the gas prices are always going to be higher than South Carolina gas prices. For example, a couple weeks ago, I filled up here a couple times for about $ 2.80 to $ 2.90 per gallon of 93 octane premium fuel. Those prices compared to $ 3.00 to $ 3.20 per gallon premium in metro Atlanta. A nice little savings. This Enmark station has eight pumps, four on either side of the small and centrally located convenience store. There’s a compact automated car wash facility in the back, two outdoor restrooms(one male, one female), and multiple car vacuums and air pumps for your tires. The vacuums even come with air fragrances for your car. The lot is fairly spacious and it’s easy to move around. There’s not a whole lot of traffic/activity at this station(in my experience). The fuel is supposedly«double filtered» meaning it’s cleaner. The car wash uses Rain-X brand surface care products. The pump receipt printers mostly work fine, though pump #5’s printer was printing blanks a couple weeks ago. I went inside the store and requested a duplicate outdoor receipt. The receipts that print out inside are much nicer and easier to read than the ones that print outside.
