Meet the Business Owner
Blake W.
Business Owner
Blake spent his childhood exploring a thousand acres of rolling bluegrass on his family’s tree farm outside of Louisville, Kentucky. The early years were filled with vegetable gardens and summers at his family’s road-side produce stand. Blake’s first true culinary lessons took place in both of his grandmothers’ kitchens.
While earning a Bachelors degree in Geology at the University of Kentucky, Blake worked for and learned from some of the best foodies around at Whole Foods Market. It was here that Blake decided that his passion for preparing and producing high quality food would become his life’s work.
In 2010, Blake relocated to the beautiful SC Low Country and settled on Hilton Head Island. He teamed up with C.E.C. Cathryn Matthes of Delishee Yo. Developing healthy, but tasty whole foods plant-based meals became his focus.
In 2014, he purchased Delishee Yo from his mentor. He currently spends his days providing Hilton Head with the most thoughtful food around.
