History

Established in 2013.

We are the former owners of a very successful B & B located in downtown Hilo and decided to sell that business in order to down size to a smaller residence just blocks away. We totally renovated and furnished this small cottage. We enjoy people and did not want to retire from the hospitality industry. This cottage allows more freedom and more time to spend with guest.

We have worked in the hospitality industry since 1998. For six years Doug managed the Marina as well as taught windsurfing and Sue was the Assistant Manager at a 5 Star North Carolina Resort. We also worked at Resorts in Key West, FL, Brownsville, TX and Gulf Shores, AL. The start up of the B&B in Hilo was the first of its’ kind for us and the immediate success within two years was gratifying. With our desire to offer the best to our guest we feel sure that this venture will be equally successful.
