We are a grassroots grocer specializing in the edible, oft-​times unique, abundance of Hawaii Island. From freshly-​expelled oils, small-​batch coffee and spices to locally-​crafted meats and cheeses and exotic, seasonal fruits, veggies and other fresh produce — we proudly feature only Big Island-​sourced goods. Each week our shelves are stocked by over 50 Big Island-​based family farms, gardeners and artisans. Take home some chocolate hot sauce, a fresh cut of honeycomb, maybe some wild-​crafted sea salt or a durian fruit roll-​up! Whatever you take home, you’ll be supporting one of our hard-​working, local families, so thanks.

History

Established in 2010.

We began distributing local food for a few of our farmy neighbors at the local farmers markets in 2010. Through an organic process of hard work, collaboration and creativity, we now have a storefront to work out of. You’ll still find the offerings of some of our original, farmy neighbors, as well as many new farms and artisans. We’re so proud to represent the work and creative-​genius of so many incredible individuals and operations.
